Fits Logitech Touchpad T650 and MX Master wireless remotes, replacing OEM part 533-000088.
3.7V, 500mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers consistent IR LED output for full-range wireless control across presentations and media functions.
Connector is a two-pin JST-compatible plug with keyed orientation; verify polarity before seating to avoid reverse-installation damage to the device circuit.
We bench-tested this pack in the T650 platform; BMS maintained stable 3.7V throughout discharge cycle with no early cutoff or thermal throttle.
After installing this cell in the T650, verify the touchpad responds at full distance from your receiver — if range drops suddenly, check that the battery contacts seated fully, as partial contact triggers insufficient IR LED voltage.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Logitech Touchpad T650 / MX Master — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (533-000088)

This 3.7V, 500mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the internal battery in the Logitech Touchpad T650 and MX Master wireless input devices. It matches OEM part numbers 533-000088 and HB303450. When the original cell fails, gesture tracking and wireless connectivity drop out entirely.

  • T650 and MX Master compatibility: Both devices share the same battery bay dimensions, voltage rail, and connector footprint. The 51.55 × 34.80 × 3.60mm cell slots into either unit without modification to the housing or cable routing.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a T650 unit. The BMS accepted the cell without triggering a protection cutoff, and the device recognised a full charge state on first connect to the charging cable.
  • Internal battery swap caution: The T650 uses a soldered or clip-seated ribbon connector — not a standard tab. Disconnect the old cell from the PCB before cutting any adhesive. Pulling the cell first risks tearing the connector pad off the board.

Why the T650 stops tracking after a partial charge cycle

Li-Polymer cells in low-draw devices like the T650 degrade through shallow cycling — repeated short charges that never complete a full charge-discharge cycle. Over time, the usable voltage window narrows. The touchpad's wireless module cuts out before the BMS trips because the radio needs a stable 3.5V minimum to maintain Bluetooth connection. A cell that reads 3.6V at rest may sag below that threshold under the brief transmit load. Replace the cell and run one full charge before pairing the device again.

Touchpad connects but drops gestures mid-use

This usually means the cell voltage is holding at rest but sagging during multi-finger gesture bursts, which spike the wireless transmitter draw. The BMS doesn't cut off, but the radio stutters. Users report it as a software or driver issue — it's nearly always a low-cell symptom. Check the battery indicator in Logitech Options software first. If it reads below 20%, the new cell should resolve the drop-outs after a full charge to 4.2V.

Frequently Asked Questions

I just installed the new battery but the T650 isn't responding at all — what did I miss?

The most likely cause is a loose or unseated ribbon connector between the cell and the PCB. Li-Polymer cells in the T650 use a small clip-seated connector that can look seated without actually making contact. Disconnect and firmly reseat the connector, then press the pairing button on the underside of the touchpad. If the Logitech Options software still shows no device, check that the connector tab isn't bent or cracked.

The T650 works but I have to hold it much closer to my computer than before — is that normal after a battery swap?

No. That behaviour means the Bluetooth transmitter is running below its stable output threshold, which points to the new cell not yet holding a full charge. A freshly installed Li-Polymer cell sometimes ships at a low state of charge. Plug the T650 in via its USB charging cable and allow it to charge fully before use. Once the cell reaches 4.2V, the transmit range should return to normal operating distance.

The battery seems to be draining much faster than expected — could there be a problem with the cell?

Fast drain on a low-draw device like the T650 is almost always caused by a stuck or partially depressed button creating a continuous input signal. That keeps the wireless module active instead of letting it sleep between gestures. Run your hand flat across all touch zones and check that no edge of the touchpad is caught on the housing. If no mechanical cause is visible, check the Logitech Options battery indicator after 24 hours of standby — if it drops more than 5% overnight with no use, the cell itself may have a defect.
