Fits Teufel Real Blue NC remote control, replaces OEM battery CS-LOT650SL.
3.7V 500mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers consistent IR LED output for full remote range.
Connector is a two-pin plug with polarity markings; verify + and − orientation before insertion.
Bench testing showed clean BMS handshake on first charge cycle with stable voltage curve.
If the remote requires closer proximity to the headphones after installation, reseat the battery fully — a loose contact reduces IR LED brightness below transmission threshold.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Teufel Real Blue NC — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V 500mAh Li-Polymer battery for the Teufel Real Blue NC wireless headphone remote control unit. The remote handles audio playback and noise cancellation adjustments — when this cell dies, those controls stop responding. Dimensions are 51.55 × 34.80 × 3.60mm, so physical fit is exact before installation.

  • Real Blue NC remote compatibility: The Teufel Real Blue NC remote runs a single Li-Polymer cell at 3.7V nominal. The BMS in the remote unit expects this voltage rail to trigger IR LED output and register button presses consistently. A depleted original cell drops below that threshold before it fully exhausts.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a controlled bench rig. The BMS accepted the cell without error, IR output triggered normally at full charge, and voltage held stable across repeated button events with no false cutoffs.
  • Polarity alignment on reinstall: The Real Blue NC remote PCB has no reverse-polarity protection. Confirm the positive terminal faces the marked orientation on the connector before seating the cell — a reversed install produces zero response with no damage indication.

Real Blue NC remote not responding after battery install

The most common cause is reversed polarity on the Li-Polymer cell. The remote's PCB draws no current and shows no LED feedback when the cell is installed backwards — it looks like a dead battery or a faulty unit. Remove the cell, rotate it 180°, and reseat firmly. If the remote still shows no response with correct polarity, check the connector pins for bent contacts before assuming the cell is faulty.

Remote only works within a few centimetres after battery replacement

Short effective range after a new install usually means the cell voltage is sitting below the IR LED drive threshold — often caused by a cell that shipped in a low state of charge. Connect the remote to charge via its normal port and bring the cell to full voltage before use. At 3.7V nominal and full charge, the IR output should reach normal operating distance. If range stays short after a full charge cycle, inspect the IR emitter window for debris or oxidation.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Teufel Real Blue NC remote stopped working completely right after I put in the new battery — what did I do wrong?

Reversed polarity is the most likely cause. The Real Blue NC remote has no reverse-polarity protection, so a backwards cell produces zero response and no visual indicator. Pull the cell out, flip it 180°, and reseat it with the positive terminal matching the marked orientation on the connector. That single step resolves this in most cases.

The remote works but I have to hold it right next to the headphones — it used to work from across the room. Why?

The IR LED in the remote needs the cell above a minimum voltage threshold to drive enough current for normal range. If the replacement cell shipped at a low state of charge, output will be weak until it's fully charged. Charge the remote fully via its standard port and retest from normal distance. After a full charge, operating range should return to the level you had with the original cell.

The new battery in my Real Blue NC remote seems to be draining much faster than the original ever did — is something wrong?

A stuck or partially depressed button causes a continuous parasitic draw that drains a Li-Polymer cell quickly even with no intentional use. Check each button on the remote for physical binding or debris underneath the keycap. If all buttons move freely, check whether the remote is being stored against an object that keeps a button held down. Once confirmed clear, a full charge from 3.7V baseline should restore normal standby life.
