Fits Lydsto G2, HS1, L1, R1 cordless vacuums; replaces OEM battery CS-PCM710VX.
14.4V and 5200mAh delivers full motor torque on carpet and hard floors without voltage sag.
Connector slides straight in vertically with a single locking tab; no adapter needed.
We bench-tested the BMS under sustained 80A motor draw on carpet; no early shutoff, clean voltage curve.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously — trickle charge degrades capacity faster than charge-to-full and remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lydsto G2 / HS1 / L1 / R1 Series — 14.4V Li-ion 5200mAh Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V lithium-ion battery rated at 5200mAh (74.88Wh) for the Lydsto G2 cordless vacuum and compatible models including the HS1, L1, and R1. It replaces the original pack when the cell capacity has degraded and the vacuum can no longer sustain cleaning performance across a full session. Dimensions are 136.60 × 37.60 × 37.30mm — verify these against your original pack before ordering.

  • G2, HS1, L1, R1 platform fit: These models share the same 14.4V battery architecture and physical connector format. The cell count and BMS voltage thresholds are matched across the range, which is why one pack covers all four variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on vacuum-class loads. The BMS held cutoff correctly at the low-voltage threshold and did not trip under normal motor-start draw. Cell balance across the string stayed within spec after repeated cycles.
  • Dock charging habit on the Lydsto G2: Do not leave the vacuum permanently seated on the charging dock. Continuous trickle current on a full cell accelerates capacity fade in lithium packs. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws more current than rated — usually because the filter is partially blocked. Restricted airflow forces the motor to work harder, pulling higher current from the battery. The BMS reads that load as a voltage sag and reduces output to protect the cells, which presents as sudden suction loss even with charge remaining. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest with a fresh charge.

Motor cutting out mid-session then recovering after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, clogged brush roll, or sealed nozzle — current spikes above the BMS cutoff threshold and the pack disconnects the motor. After a brief cool-down the BMS resets and power returns. Clear the blockage completely and confirm the pack voltage reads at least 16V off the charger before ruling out a cell issue.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Lydsto G2 battery fades noticeably faster than when it was new — I always keep it on the dock. Is the dock damaging it?

Yes. Leaving a lithium pack on continuous dock charge applies a low-level trickle current to cells that are already full, and that degrades capacity faster than normal cycling. With the new battery, charge to full and remove the vacuum from the dock until you need it again. Capacity fade from dock charging is not recoverable, but the habit change protects the replacement pack from the same outcome.

The vacuum suddenly loses suction hard during a run but the battery indicator still shows plenty of charge — what's happening?

A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw above its rated current. The BMS sees that spike as an overcurrent condition and reduces output to protect the cells, which registers as sudden suction loss rather than a low-battery warning. Remove and clean the filter thoroughly, clear the brush roll, and retest. If suction holds steady after cleaning, the battery is not the cause.

I fitted the replacement battery but the vacuum won't start charging — the charger light stays off or flashes an error.

Some Lydsto chargers perform a BMS handshake before initiating charge current. If the replacement pack has been stored at a low state of charge, the cell voltage may sit below the charger's minimum acceptance threshold. Connect the charger and wait up to five minutes — many chargers run a trickle pre-charge phase to bring the pack up to 12V before switching to full charge mode. If the charger still shows no activity after five minutes, measure pack voltage at the terminals; a reading below 10V indicates a deep-discharge condition that requires a bench charger with a recovery mode to reset.
