Fits Media P6 SNOW cordless vacuum cleaner, replaces OEM battery BP2522A.
25.2V and 2000mAh capacity delivers full motor power to P6 SNOW suction system.
Connector slides into Media battery slot with locking tab — no adapter needed.
We bench-tested this 50.4Wh pack on the P6 SNOW motor; BMS accepted load draw under normal carpet suction without voltage sag or early cutoff.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously — dock trickle charge degrades Li-ion capacity faster than removal after full charge.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Midea P6 SNOW / P91 BLUE Series — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BP2522A)

This is a 25.2V, 2000mAh (50.4Wh) lithium-ion battery replacing OEM part BP2522A. It fits the Midea P6 SNOW, P91 BLUE, P6, and P6 MASTER cordless stick vacuums. Swap it when the original battery no longer holds charge or the vacuum cuts out before the task is done.

  • P6 and P91 BLUE platform compatibility: These models share a common 25.2V battery rail and the same physical connector and BMS handshake protocol. One cell pack covers the full listed range — no adapters or firmware differences between variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on a P6 SNOW unit. The BMS communicated correctly with the charger, held voltage under sustained motor load, and triggered protection cutoff cleanly at the low-cell threshold without nuisance trips.
  • Dock charging habit on the P6 platform: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charge degrades cell capacity faster than normal cycling. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low

This is one of the most common complaints on the P6 platform, and it is rarely a battery fault by itself. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated to maintain airflow. That higher draw causes voltage to sag at the cell level before the indicator registers a low state. Clean the filter first — if suction recovers and the indicator stabilises, the battery was reacting normally to a restricted load, not failing.

Motor cuts out mid-run then recovers after a short pause

This behaviour is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. On the P6, sustained restricted airflow — usually a clogged filter or a blockage in the nozzle — forces the motor into a high-draw state that exceeds the BMS current limit. The BMS shuts the output to protect the cells, then resets once temperature drops. Clear the blockage and check that the filter is fully dry before reinstalling. If the trips continue on an unblocked vacuum with a clean filter, test cell voltage at rest — it should read above 24V for a charged pack.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Midea P6 SNOW runs for a short time but the battery indicator still shows nearly full — what's going on?

A partially blocked filter is the most likely cause. When airflow is restricted, the motor draws higher current than rated, which drags cell voltage down fast under load even though the resting charge level looks fine. The indicator reads resting voltage, not load voltage, so the gap between what it shows and what the motor actually gets can be significant. Clean or replace the filter and check that the nozzle path is clear before assuming the battery is at fault.

The replacement battery charges fine but the vacuum cuts out after a few seconds on max power mode — is this normal?

Max power mode on the P6 pulls sustained high current, and the BMS will trip if the cells cannot deliver it cleanly — this can happen on a new pack that has not been fully cycled yet. Run two or three full charge-discharge cycles at normal power first to let the cells stabilise. If cutouts persist after cycling, check resting voltage after a full charge — it should read 25.2V. A reading below 24V after a full charge indicates a charging or BMS communication fault worth investigating before use.

My Midea P6 SNOW lost noticeable suction capacity after months of leaving it on the dock — can a new battery fix this?

Yes, this is a known capacity fade pattern on cordless vacuums kept on continuous dock charge. Constant trickle charge stresses lithium-ion cells and reduces how much energy they hold per cycle. A replacement BP2522A pack restores original cell capacity. Once fitted, charge to full and remove the vacuum from the dock — only return it to charge when depleted.
