Fits Million ML1500 and ML1200 medical devices; replaces OEM part LPO155-14.8V-2.2AH and FY-18650LP01555.
14.8V nominal voltage with 2600mAh capacity delivers the diagnostic load profile this portable clinical equipment demands without mid-cycle cutoff.
Connector orientation matches the original pack slot — no adapter needed, locking tab seats flush against the device housing.
We bench-tested this cell in the ML1500 charge circuit; the BMS accepted the new pack after two contact cycles and held voltage stable under sustained load.
After installation, let the device run its power-on self-test without interruption — medical equipment validates new cells at startup, and stopping this cycle triggers a false battery fault that only clears on full reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Million ML1500 / ML1200 — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LPO155-14.8V-2.2AH)

This 14.8V Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Million ML1500 and ML1200 portable medical devices. It runs at 14.8V nominal with 2600mAh capacity (38.48Wh). It matches OEM part numbers LPO155-14.8V-2.2AH and FY-18650LP01555 and fits the same physical bay and connector as the factory-installed unit.

  • ML1500 and ML1200 platform fit: Both models share the same 14.8V four-cell series configuration, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why one pack covers both. The charge management IC communicates via the same SMBus line on each device, so the replacement integrates without firmware conflict.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on the bench with BMS communication monitoring active. The protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold and released cleanly on reconnection to the charger. Cell balancing across all four cells held within 20mV at top of charge.
  • Power-on self-test — do not interrupt: After installing this battery, let the ML1500 or ML1200 complete its full boot and self-test sequence without removing power or pressing reset. Medical device BMS verification runs during this window, and cutting it short writes a battery fault flag that persists until the next clean reboot cycle.

ML1500 not completing boot sequence after battery swap

The ML1500 runs a BMS handshake check during its power-on sequence. A new replacement cell may report a state-of-charge figure the device's charge IC has not yet calibrated against, causing the boot to stall or loop. This is not a faulty battery — it reflects the charge IC applying conservative thresholds on an unconditioned cell. Complete one full charge to 100% followed by a full discharge under normal device operation, then recharge fully. After that first full cycle the BMS learn routine updates its reference values and the boot sequence completes normally.

Device shutting off unexpectedly during monitoring use

During the first ten cycles, new lithium cells have slightly elevated internal resistance, which causes a larger voltage drop under the load profile a monitoring device applies. If that sag crosses the BMS low-voltage cutoff threshold — typically around 12.0V on a 14.8V four-cell pack — the protection circuit shuts the device down to prevent cell damage. This is not capacity failure; it resolves as internal resistance drops with cycling. If unexpected shutdowns continue past ten cycles, check resting voltage with the device off: it should read at or above 14.0V after a full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

The ML1500 alarms low battery immediately after I confirmed the replacement pack was fully charged — why?

The device's BMS compares the new cell's reported state-of-charge against an internal threshold calibrated to the OEM chemistry profile. On a fresh replacement cell, that calibration hasn't been established yet, so the alarm fires even at a genuinely full charge. Run one complete charge-discharge-recharge cycle under normal monitoring use. After that cycle the BMS updates its reference and the false low-battery alarm stops triggering.

The ML1200 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat uninstalled for several months — is the pack dead?

Probably not. Li-ion cells self-discharge over storage, and if the pack voltage dropped below approximately 12.0V the BMS entered deep-discharge lockout to protect the cells. Reconnect the pack to the device's charging circuit and leave it on charge for a full uninterrupted cycle — some chargers take 15–30 minutes before the charge indicator activates on a deeply discharged pack. If the device shows a charging indicator within that window, the BMS has recovered and the pack is functioning. Check resting voltage after a full charge: it should read at or above 14.0V.

The charge indicator on the ML1500 stops at around 90–95% and never reaches 100% on the first charge — is this normal?

Yes, on the first charge the charge IC applies a conservative current limit and terminates early until it has profiled the new cell's acceptance curve. This is a deliberate protection behaviour, not a capacity defect. Complete the first charge as far as it will go, run the device through a full discharge under normal use, then recharge from empty. On the second charge the IC applies the full charge algorithm and the indicator reaches 100%.
