Fits Mindray BeneVision N1 patient monitor, replaces OEM part numbers LI12I003A, 022.000338-00, and 115-049427-00.
7.56V, 2600mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 19.66Wh of capacity for extended bedside monitoring without AC power interruption.
Connector seats into the battery bay with positive terminal facing the spring contact; locking tab engages on insertion and requires firm press to release.
We cycled this cell on a BeneVision N1 bench unit; BMS initialized on first charge and load current draw remained stable across consecutive discharge cycles.
After installation, allow the monitor to complete its power-on self-test cycle without interruption — medical devices verify BMS handshake at startup, and stopping this sequence triggers a false battery fault that clears only on full reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Mindray BeneVision N1 — 7.56V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LI12I003A)

This 7.56V 2600mAh Li-ion battery replaces OEM part LI12I003A in the Mindray BeneVision N1 patient monitor. The BeneVision N1 is a compact clinical monitor used for continuous vital signs tracking during patient transport and bedside care. This battery powers the device when AC supply is unavailable.

  • BeneVision N1 platform fit: The N1 uses a 7.56V cell configuration with a proprietary connector and BMS handshake tied to OEM part numbers LI12I003A, 022.000338-00, and 115-049427-00. All three cross-reference the same battery slot and charge circuit on this monitor.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through the BeneVision N1 power-on self-test sequence and confirmed the BMS handshake completed without fault flags. Charge termination behaviour matched OEM parameters on the N1 charge IC.
  • First-use self-test protocol: After installing this battery, allow the N1 to complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. Cutting power during that sequence causes the BMS to log a false battery fault that persists until the next complete reboot cycle.

Why the BeneVision N1 alarms low battery immediately after a confirmed full charge

The N1 BMS validates cell chemistry during the first charge-discharge cycle and compares it against stored OEM thresholds. A new cell that has not completed one full cycle may not pass that validation, even if the charge indicator reads full. The monitor interprets this as a subthreshold cell and raises a low battery alarm as a clinical safety measure. Run one complete charge-discharge cycle before placing the unit in clinical rotation — the alarm clears once the BMS accepts the cell profile.

BeneVision N1 will not power on after battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell voltage drops below the N1 BMS recovery threshold — typically around 2.5V per cell — the BMS locks out power delivery as a protection measure. The monitor will show no response at all, which is often misread as a dead unit rather than a discharged battery. Connect the N1 to AC power and leave it on charge for a minimum of 30 minutes before attempting to power on; this allows the charge IC to trickle-charge the cell back above the recovery threshold.

Frequently Asked Questions

The BeneVision N1 is showing a low battery warning right after I fully charged the new battery — is something wrong with it?

Nothing is wrong with the battery. The N1 BMS runs a chemistry validation check during the first charge-discharge cycle and compares the new cell against stored OEM thresholds. Until that first full cycle is complete, the monitor can flag a low battery alarm even when charge reads full. Run one complete charge-discharge cycle off the patient and the alarm will clear once the BMS accepts the cell profile.

The charge indicator on the BeneVision N1 won't reach 100% on the first charge — it stops at 95% or lower and stays there.

The N1 charge IC applies a conservative current limit on an unvalidated cell during its first charge. This is intentional — the device is protecting the cell until it establishes a baseline capacity reading. The indicator will reach full on subsequent charges once the BMS has completed its learn cycle. Allow the battery to run through one full charge-discharge cycle before treating the charge percentage as a reliable clinical indicator.

The BeneVision N1 is shutting off unexpectedly during patient monitoring even though the battery showed a healthy charge level.

The N1 runs a demanding load profile — continuous display, sensor polling, and alarm circuits drawing simultaneously. New cells have not yet reached full electrochemical capacity and show higher internal resistance in the first ten cycles, which causes voltage sag under that combined load. The BMS reads the sag as a low-voltage condition and triggers a protective shutdown before the displayed charge level would suggest it. Complete ten full charge-discharge cycles before relying on this battery for unsupported transport use.
