  • Orderman 7 and 7 MSR platform fit: The 7 and 7 MSR share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers both variants without any hardware modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on an Orderman 7 unit. The BMS accepted the cell on first contact, current draw during scan bursts stayed within the protection thresholds, and the charge termination voltage held at spec.
  • First-shift prep on the Orderman 7: After installing, seat the scanner in its cradle for a full charge cycle before deploying it. The scan trigger inrush current peaks when the cell is near minimum — a fully charged pack prevents false BMS trips during the first high-volume shift.

The Orderman 7 cradle monitors contact resistance at the dock pins. On the Orderman 7, the wireless radio and the imager fire simultaneously during rapid scanning. The combined inrush current from both draws can pull the cell voltage below the BMS low-voltage threshold for a split second, causing the radio to drop its access point association.
