Fits Nokia 9 PureView (TA-1082, TA-1087) and replaces OEM part HE354.
3.85V, 3250mAh Li-Polymer cell restores full charge capacity on the Snapdragon flagship.
Connector slides into the factory slot with a single locking tab on the left edge.
We bench tested this HE354 against the original — BMS accepted full charge cycles without thermal throttle.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Nokia 9 PureView — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (HE354)

This is a 3.85V, 3250mAh Li-Polymer cell built to the HE354 specification. It fits the Nokia 9 PureView across both TA-1082 and TA-1087 regional variants. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds a charge through a full day of use.

  • TA-1082 and TA-1087 fit: Both variants share the same internal chassis, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers both boards without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Nokia 9 PureView mainboard. The BMS accepted the cell on first connection, reported state-of-charge correctly after one full cycle, and thermal output during charge stayed within expected range for a high-impedance new cell.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

The Nokia 9 PureView uses a Snapdragon platform with an active modem and a five-lens camera array — both draw sharp current spikes. A new cell with a slightly different internal resistance curve can drop below the BMS cutoff voltage under that load, even when the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. This is a voltage-cliff problem, not a capacity problem. Run one full discharge cycle without triggering the camera burst mode or LTE streaming, and the fuel gauge IC will recalibrate its low-voltage threshold to match the new cell.

USB-PD fast charge not activating on first cycle after replacement

After a cell swap, the charge IC on the Nokia 9 PureView defaults to standard 5V charging on the first cycle. It does this as a protective measure — the BMS has no historical data on the new cell and withholds high-current negotiation until it completes one baseline charge. Plug into a USB-PD charger and expect standard charging on that first cycle only. Fast charge will activate automatically from the second cycle onward once the BMS has logged the cell's baseline impedance.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Nokia 9 PureView shuts off at around 25% after replacing the battery — is the new cell faulty?

It is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so it misjudges the voltage cliff on the new cell. Under modem or camera load, the cell voltage dips below the BMS cutoff before the displayed percentage reaches zero. Run one full discharge — down to auto-shutdown — followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, and the coulomb counter will re-anchor to the new cell. Shutdowns at low percentage should stop after that cycle.

The battery percentage is jumping around erratically — it showed 60%, then jumped to 45%, then back to 55% within minutes.

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating after the cell swap. The Nokia 9 PureView's coulomb counter was tuned to the impedance profile of the original HE354 cell — a new cell with a slightly different internal resistance throws off its state-of-charge estimates. The jumping settles after one complete discharge-to-charge cycle with the screen on and normal use. Do not interrupt the cycle — let it run from full charge down to shutdown, then charge back to 100% without pausing.

The phone feels warm near the battery during the first charge after fitting the replacement — is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong. A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a worn cell, and the charge IC pushes current into that resistance, generating more heat than you would have seen from the degraded original. The warmth is normal and drops off after the first one or two charge cycles as the cell's impedance settles. If the phone becomes hot to the touch rather than warm, disconnect the charger and let it cool to room temperature before resuming at a lower-current USB port.
