Fits Oppo Reno6 Pro and Reno5 Pro+ using OEM part number BLP825 replacement cell.
7.74V at 2200mAh capacity restores full charge cycles on this Li-Polymer pack.
Connector slots vertically into the phone chassis with a single locking tab on the left edge.
We ran three full discharge cycles on the bench — BMS accepted charge protocol immediately, no handshake faults detected.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo Reno6 Pro / Reno5 Pro+ — 7.74V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP825)

This is a 7.74V, 2200mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Oppo Reno6 Pro and Reno5 Pro+. It replaces OEM part number BLP825 and fits the original battery bay without modification. Voltage and cell dimensions match the factory spec at 83.64 x 61.45 x 5.50mm.

  • Reno6 Pro and Reno5 Pro+ compatibility: Both devices share the BLP825 form factor, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The fuel gauge IC on both platforms reads the same cell voltage curve, so one cell fits both without firmware conflict.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge passes on the Reno6 Pro. The BMS accepted the cell on first connection, charge termination triggered correctly at 8.68V, and the coulomb counter tracked state-of-charge without fault flags.
  • First-cycle fast charge behaviour: On first use after installation, disable SUPERVOOC fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its discharge curve against the new cell before high-current fast charging pushes amperage into an uncalibrated state-of-charge map.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity problem. Under high-load conditions — modem handoffs, sustained screen brightness, or background sync — the cell's instantaneous voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold before the coulomb counter reaches zero. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's internal resistance profile, so it reports 25% while the actual usable voltage has already collapsed. Run one full discharge to automatic shutdown and a full uninterrupted charge to resolve it — the coulomb counter resets its endpoint references against the new cell's curve.

SUPERVOOC fast charge not activating after battery replacement

Oppo's SUPERVOOC protocol requires the charger IC to complete a BMS handshake before it will step voltage above standard 5V input. On a freshly installed cell, the BMS may return an unexpected impedance reading on the first negotiation cycle, causing the charger IC to fall back to standard charging rates. This is not a fault — it resolves after one standard-rate charge cycle re-establishes the reference baseline. If fast charge still does not activate after that cycle, check that the USB-C port contacts are clean and the cable supports the required current rating.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Oppo Reno6 Pro battery percentage keeps jumping around erratically after I put the new cell in — is something wrong with the replacement?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge model it built for the old degraded battery, so its percentage estimates are inaccurate against the new cell's voltage curve. Run one complete discharge — let the phone shut itself off automatically — then charge uninterrupted to 100% without fast charging enabled. That full cycle forces the coulomb counter to recalibrate its zero and full endpoints against the new cell.

The phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in the drawer for a few months before I installed it — how do I recover it?

If the cell dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell during storage, the BMS enters lockout mode and refuses to supply current to prevent damage. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it connected for 15–20 minutes before attempting to power on. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell at a low rate to bring voltage back above the BMS recovery threshold, after which normal charging resumes. If the phone shows no charging indicator after 30 minutes on a wall adapter, the cell has discharged too deeply to recover and will need to be replaced again.

The back of my Reno6 Pro gets noticeably warm near the battery area during the first few charges on the new cell — should I be concerned?

Warmth during early charge cycles on a new Li-Polymer cell is expected. A fresh cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC dissipates more energy as heat while current flows into a higher-resistance cell. This typically reduces after three to five charge cycles as the cell's impedance settles. Keep fast charging disabled for the first cycle and charge in a ventilated spot — if the phone becomes too hot to hold comfortably, stop the charge, let it cool to room temperature, then resume at a lower charge rate.
