Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo Find X3 Pro — 7.74V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP831)
The BLP831 is a 7.74V, 2200mAh Li-Polymer cell that replaces the factory battery in the Oppo Find X3 Pro. It fits the PEEM00, CPH2173, and OPG03 variants — the same hardware sold across different regions under different model codes. Capacity figure is taken directly from the product specification, rated at 17.03Wh.
- Find X3 Pro variant coverage: The PEEM00, CPH2173, and OPG03 share an identical battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell fits all three without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the BLP831 through charge and discharge cycles on the CPH2173 board. The BMS accepted the cell on first insertion, and the charge IC held the correct 4.45V per-cell ceiling without intervention.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable VOOC or fast charging for the first full discharge-to-charge cycle after installation. This gives the coulomb counter time to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes load into an uncalibrated gauge.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Find X3 Pro after a cell swap
This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve it learned from the old, degraded cell. When the new cell hits a voltage point the old curve didn't predict, the OS reads the drop as a hard zero and forces a shutdown. The phone still has usable charge — the gauge just doesn't know it yet. One complete discharge cycle from 100% to auto-off, followed by a full charge without interruption, resets the coulomb counter against the new cell's actual curve.
USB-PD or VOOC fast charge not accepted on the first cycle
On the first charge after installation, the Find X3 Pro's charge IC may fall back to standard 5V input rather than negotiating VOOC or USB-PD rates. This is the BMS responding cautiously to an uncalibrated cell — it hasn't yet confirmed the internal resistance is within the window that fast charging requires. Let the first cycle complete at standard rate. On the second and subsequent cycles, VOOC negotiation resumes normally once the charge IC has logged one full profile from the new cell.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Find X3 Pro shuts off at around 25% even though the replacement battery is brand new — what's wrong?
The fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it built around the old, worn cell. When the new cell's voltage drops through a point the old curve mapped as empty, the OS triggers an emergency shutdown even though charge remains. This isn't a faulty cell — it's a calibration mismatch. Run one full uninterrupted discharge to auto-off, then charge to 100% without using fast charge; that resets the coulomb counter to the new cell's actual curve.
The battery percentage on my Find X3 Pro jumps around erratically after I swapped the BLP831 — is the new cell defective?
Erratic percentage readings after a cell swap are almost always the fuel gauge IC recalibrating rather than a defective cell. The coulomb counter was trained on thousands of charge cycles from the original battery and its internal resistance profile no longer matches the new cell. We see this on the bench consistently with fresh BLP831 installs. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles at standard charging speed and the percentage display stabilises as the gauge rewrites its reference curve.
My Find X3 Pro won't power on at all after the replacement BLP831 sat in storage for a few months before I installed it — how do I recover it?
Li-Polymer cells in storage self-discharge slowly, and if the BLP831 dropped below roughly 2.5V per cell, the BMS will have tripped into lockout to prevent further discharge damage. The phone won't respond to a normal boot press in this state. Connect it to a wall adapter — not a USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without attempting to power it on. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it clears the BMS lockout threshold; once it does, the phone will show the charging indicator and boot normally.
