Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo U705W / Ulike 2 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP537)
This is a 3.8V, 2020mAh Li-Polymer cell (7.68Wh) carrying OEM part number BLP537. It fits the Oppo U705W, Ulike 2, U705T, and Find Way series smartphones. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds adequate charge through a normal day.
- U705W / Ulike 2 / U705T / Find Way compatibility: These models share the same 3.8V single-cell architecture, BLP537 connector footprint, and charge IC handshake — one cell covers all of them without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and load on the U705W platform. The BMS accepted the charge IC handshake cleanly, held voltage above the cutoff threshold under screen-on modem load, and did not trigger a protection trip at any point in the test sequence.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-charge cycle before returning to normal use. The U705W fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one unconstrained cycle lets it remap against the new BLP537 and stops erratic percentage readings early on.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BLP537 after replacement
This is a voltage cliff problem, not a capacity problem. When the U705W modem transmits or the screen brightness peaks, current draw spikes sharply. A new cell with an uncalibrated fuel gauge IC can report 25% remaining while actual cell voltage drops below 3.4V under that load spike. The phone's protection circuit reads the real voltage — not the displayed percentage — and shuts down to protect the cell. One full discharge-charge cycle recalibrates the coulomb counter and closes the gap between displayed and actual state of charge.
Phone warm near the battery compartment on first charge after swap
A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a worn cell that has been through hundreds of cycles. On the first charge, the Oppo charge IC pushes current into a higher-resistance cell, which converts more energy to heat than usual. This is normal and tapers off after two to three cycles as the cell's impedance settles. If the device stays warm beyond the third full charge, check that the back cover is seated correctly — trapped air between the cell and cover slows heat dissipation and can sustain elevated temperatures unnecessarily.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Oppo U705W shows the wrong battery percentage after I fitted the new BLP537 — jumps from 40% straight to 15% and shuts off. What's happening?
The U705W fuel gauge IC stores a discharge curve learned from the old cell. When you fit a new BLP537, the IC is still plotting voltage against a map that no longer matches. The result is a percentage that diverges from real state of charge, especially under modem or screen load. Run one complete discharge to auto-off followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% — the coulomb counter will remap to the new cell's curve and the jumps will stop.
Fast charging stopped working on my U705W after the battery replacement — it's only trickle charging now. Is the new cell the problem?
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the Oppo charge IC sometimes falls back to standard charging while it validates the new BMS. This is a handshake behaviour, not a fault. Charge the phone fully, power it off, then power it back on and plug in again — the fast charge protocol re-negotiates on the next session. If it still does not engage after two full cycles, confirm the cable and adapter are rated for Oppo's charge specification, as the IC will refuse fast charge if the negotiation signal from the adapter is ambiguous.
My Oppo U705W won't turn on at all after the BLP537 sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it. The screen stays black.
Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the BLP537 dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell the BMS will have entered a lockout state to prevent damage. A standard charger may not be able to wake it from this state. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 30 to 45 minutes without pressing any buttons. The charge IC on the U705W can deliver a low-current pre-charge pulse that slowly brings the cell voltage back above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 2.8V, at which point the phone will boot normally.
