Fits Orange SPV M2000 and SPV M2500 smartphones, replacing OEM battery PH26B and AHTXDSSN.
3.7V, 4200mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full charge capacity to aging Windows Mobile handsets.
Connector slides into original battery slot with locking tab; no adapters or modifications needed.
We bench-tested this cell in an SPV M2000 — fuel gauge IC showed initial calibration drift on first cycle.
After installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without fast charging to let the coulomb counter recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Orange SPV M2000 / M2500 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (PH26B)

This is a 3.7V, 4200mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Orange SPV M2000 and SPV M2500 Windows Mobile smartphones. It replaces OEM part numbers PH26B and AHTXDSSN. If the original cell has degraded and the phone no longer holds a charge, this is the direct swap.

  • SPV M2000 and M2500 compatibility: Both devices share the same battery bay dimensions and voltage rail. The connector pinout and BMS handshake are identical across both models, so one cell covers either unit without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on the SPV platform and confirmed the BMS communicates charge state correctly to the OS. The protection circuit responded at both the high-voltage cutoff and the low-voltage floor without tripping the device into a false shutdown loop.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, run one complete discharge to auto-off and then a full uninterrupted charge before normal use. The SPV's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve — one full cycle resets its reference point against the new cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the SPV M2000 after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC still holds the old cell's discharge curve in memory. The new cell has a steeper voltage cliff under modem or screen load than the aged original, so the phone cuts power before the gauge registers critical. The BMS on the replacement cell is not at fault — the problem is the mismatch between the stored discharge model and the actual cell behaviour. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a complete charge retrains the coulomb counter and eliminates the premature cutoff.

Phone won't power on after the battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells in long-term storage self-discharge slowly. If the cell drops below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters lockout to prevent damage and the phone will show no response to the power button. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on. A wall charger delivers enough current to push the BMS out of lockout, where a low-output USB port may not. If the screen still shows nothing after that period, hold the charge for a further hour before the first boot attempt.

Frequently Asked Questions

My SPV M2000 now shows the wrong battery percentage after fitting this replacement — is the gauge broken?

The fuel gauge IC on the SPV was calibrated to the discharge curve of the original, aged cell. A new cell with different internal resistance throws that calibration off immediately. Run the phone down to auto-off shutdown, then charge it uninterrupted to 100% without using the device. That single full cycle gives the coulomb counter a new reference curve and the percentage readout stabilises.

The SPV M2500 feels noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges — is something wrong?

A new high-capacity cell has lower internal resistance than the degraded original, so the charge IC initially pushes more current into it than it did with the worn cell. This generates more heat during the first few charge cycles. The warmth settles after two or three full cycles as the charge IC adjusts. If the phone becomes hot to the touch — not just warm — disconnect it and check that the battery is seated flat with no raised edges on the connector.

The SPV M2000 powers on but jumps from 60% to 15% within minutes of unplugging — what causes that?

This is a voltage sag issue, not a capacity fault. The fuel gauge IC reports state-of-charge based on voltage, and a new cell under modem or screen load can sag faster than the IC expects, triggering a sudden percentage drop. It is not the cell failing — it is the gauge reading a voltage point that maps to a much lower percentage on the old curve. Complete one full uninterrupted discharge-to-shutdown and a full charge; the IC recalibrates its voltage-to-percentage map against the new cell and the erratic jumps stop.
