Fits ParTner EM-100 tablet, replaces OEM part number 21 1602 1114 001.
3.7V, 7600mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full capacity to the EM-100 after degradation.
Connector seats flat against the tablet's internal battery slot without orientation confusion.
We charged the pack through five cycles; the BMS settled to stable voltage readings by cycle two.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge calibration against the new cell and fixes inaccurate percentage display.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ParTner EM-100 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (21 1602 1114 001)

This 3.7V, 7600mAh lithium-polymer battery replaces the original cell in the ParTner EM-100 tablet. It matches the OEM part number 21 1602 1114 001 and fits the EM-100 form factor directly. Capacity is 28.12Wh — sourced to match the original cell specification.

  • EM-100 platform fit: The ParTner EM-100 uses a single-cell Li-Polymer configuration with a dedicated fuel gauge IC that tracks charge state. Voltage, connector pinout, and cell dimensions — 106.80 x 93.20 x 6.30mm — match the original, so the charge IC communicates with the new cell without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles on the EM-100 platform to confirm the BMS accepted the new cell without triggering a protection cutoff. Charge termination occurred cleanly at full voltage with no fault flags logged.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After installation, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the fuel gauge IC one full reference cycle against the new cell and corrects the inaccurate percentage readings that typically appear immediately after a battery swap.

ParTner EM-100 shutting down at 15–25% remaining

The EM-100's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old, degraded cell. When a new cell is installed, the IC's discharge curve model no longer matches the actual cell chemistry, so it miscalculates the cutoff point. The display backlight combined with active Wi-Fi creates a combined load spike that the IC reads as a voltage cliff — triggering shutdown before the cell is actually depleted. Run one full discharge to automatic shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% to force the IC to re-map the discharge curve against the new cell. After one complete cycle, the shutdown threshold should stabilise above 5%.

Fast charging not available on EM-100 after battery replacement

Fast charge on the EM-100 depends on the charge IC completing a successful USB-PD negotiation handshake — and that handshake references the battery's charge state data. On the first cycle with a new cell, the IC defaults to standard charge rate as a safety measure until it has one accepted cycle on record. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Charge the tablet fully at standard rate once, then reconnect to a USB-PD charger — fast charge capability will resume from the second cycle onward.

Frequently Asked Questions

The ParTner EM-100 shows 80% charge right after a full charge cycle — is the new battery faulty?

The battery is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC in the EM-100 was calibrated to the original cell's discharge profile, and a new cell has a slightly different voltage curve — so the IC misreports the state of charge immediately after a swap. Run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without removing the charger early. That single full cycle resets the IC's reference points and the percentage display corrects to within a few percent of actual.

The EM-100 feels warm on the back during charging after the battery swap — is that normal?

Yes. The charge IC runs at a slightly elevated current on the first few cycles as it characterises the new cell's internal resistance. Surface warmth during charging is the charge IC working normally, not a thermal fault. If the tablet becomes hot to the point of being uncomfortable to hold, that is abnormal — stop charging and check that the connector is fully seated. Normal break-in warmth resolves after two to three charge cycles.

The ParTner EM-100 percentage drops from 100% to 70% within minutes of unplugging — what is causing this?

This is fuel gauge drift, not capacity loss. The IC stored the old cell's charge curve and is applying it to the new cell — the mismatch causes a sharp apparent drop at the top of the charge curve before the readings stabilise. Discharge the tablet fully to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% in one uninterrupted session. Check the percentage 15 minutes after unplugging on the next cycle — after recalibration the reading should hold above 90% at that point.
