Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Philips FISIO 120 / FISIO 121 / P120 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This is a 3.7V, 600mAh Li-ion cell sized to fit the Philips FISIO 120, FISIO 121, and P120 mobile phones. It slots into the same battery bay as the original and connects to the device's charge and protection circuitry. Capacity is 600mAh (2.22Wh), matching the stock specification.
- FISIO 120 / 121 / P120 platform fit: These three models share the same battery bay dimensions and connector pinout, which is why one cell covers all three. The voltage rail and BMS communication lines are identical across the platform.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and full discharge on the FISIO platform. The BMS accepted the cell without rejection flags, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, let the phone discharge fully to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% before normal use. The fuel gauge IC on these handsets calibrates its coulomb counter against a complete cycle — skipping this step causes the percentage display to read inaccurately for weeks.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the FISIO 120 after a cell swap
This is a voltage-cliff failure, not a capacity problem. At around 3.6–3.65V under load — typically during a call or screen-on burst — the new cell briefly sags below the modem's minimum operating voltage, and the phone cuts out even though the gauge still shows charge remaining. The fuel gauge IC hasn't yet mapped the new cell's discharge curve, so its voltage-to-percentage translation is off. One full discharge-charge cycle forces the IC to relearn the curve and shifts the reported shutdown point to match the actual empty threshold.
Phone not powering on after the replacement cell sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if this battery sat long enough to drop below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent reverse charging damage. The phone won't respond to the power button and may not show a charging indicator immediately when plugged in. Leave the phone connected to a charger for 15–30 minutes without touching it — the charge IC will trickle current into the cell at a safe rate until voltage rises above the BMS re-enable threshold. Once the cell clears roughly 2.8V, normal charging resumes and the phone will boot.

Frequently Asked Questions
My FISIO 120 shuts off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?
The cell is almost certainly fine. This is a voltage-sag issue: under modem or screen load, the new cell's voltage briefly dips below the threshold the phone needs to stay on, and the fuel gauge IC — still calibrated to the old cell's curve — misreads how much charge is left. Run one complete discharge to auto-shutdown, then a full uninterrupted charge to 100%. That single cycle recalibrates the coulomb counter and pushes the real cutoff point back to where it belongs.
The battery percentage on my FISIO 120 jumps around erratically after the swap — 60% one minute, 45% the next.
That's the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against a new cell discharge curve it hasn't seen before. The coulomb counter was tuned to the old cell's internal resistance and voltage profile, so readings are unstable until it relearns. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles without interruption. By the end of the second cycle, the percentage display on these handsets stabilises significantly.
The FISIO 120 feels warm near the battery during the first charge with the new cell — is that normal?
A new high-impedance cell generates slightly more heat during the first few charge cycles as the charge IC works against the cell's initial internal resistance. This is normal and tapers off after two or three full cycles as resistance settles. If the phone becomes hot to the touch — not just warm — disconnect it and let it cool before resuming. Use a standard 5V charger rather than any high-current USB source for the first full cycle to keep charge current at the rated level.
