Fits Philips FISIO-659 and FISIO-695 mobile devices; replaces OEM battery for these models.
3.7V at 600mAh delivers 2.22Wh — sufficient for standard daily talk and standby cycles.
Connector seats flush into the Philips battery slot with single-latch retention on the compartment door.
We ran the cell on bench discharge and the BMS voltage held flat through moderate load until final 5%.
On first use, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Philips FISIO-659 / 695 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V 600mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original cell in the Philips FISIO-659 and FISIO-695 mobile phones. It fits both models directly — same voltage rail, same form factor. Use it when the original cell no longer holds charge or the phone shuts off before the display reads zero.

  • FISIO-659 and 695 compatibility: Both models run off the same 3.7V single-cell Li-ion architecture with a shared connector pinout and BMS handshake protocol. One cell fits both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge cycles from 3.0V to 4.2V and confirmed BMS cutoff triggers at both ends — low-voltage protection engaged cleanly at 2.75V per cell and overcharge protection held the ceiling at 4.22V.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting the new cell, disable fast charging if available and run one full discharge down to auto-shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the fuel gauge IC one complete reference cycle against the new cell's discharge curve before it starts reporting accurate percentages.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the FISIO-659 after a cell swap

The FISIO-659's fuel gauge IC stores a discharge curve calibrated to the original aged cell. A new cell has a steeper voltage drop near the bottom of its curve, so the IC misreads remaining capacity and triggers shutdown well before the display hits zero. This is not a fault in the replacement cell — it is the fuel gauge working off stale data. One full discharge-to-shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the calibration baseline. After that cycle, the reported percentage aligns with actual cell state.

Phone warm near the battery compartment during first charge

A fresh Li-ion cell has higher internal impedance than a cell that has been through several cycles. On the first charge, the charge IC pushes current into that higher resistance, which generates more heat than usual. This is normal for the first one to three cycles and fades as the cell's impedance drops with use. If the phone stays warm beyond the third full charge, check that the charge port is clear of debris and that ambient temperature is below 35°C during charging.

Frequently Asked Questions

My FISIO-659 is jumping between 45% and 62% battery every few minutes after I put in the new cell — what's happening?

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve and has no accurate reference point yet. It will report erratic percentages until it completes one full learning cycle. Run the phone down to auto-shutoff, then charge it in one uninterrupted session to 100%. After that single cycle the percentage readout stabilises.

The FISIO-659 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before installation — is the cell dead?

Li-ion cells in storage self-discharge slowly, and if the cell dropped below 2.5V the BMS locks out to prevent damage to the cell. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC needs to push a small recovery current through the BMS lockout threshold before the phone will boot. If the charge indicator light comes on during that window, the cell is recovering. Target 3.0V on the cell before attempting to power on.

The FISIO-695 screen shows 100% almost immediately after I plug in the charger with the new battery — it's not actually fully charged, is it?

No — the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's shrunken capacity curve, so it reaches its "full" reference point faster than the new 600mAh cell actually fills. The cell continues accepting charge even after the display reads 100%. Run one complete discharge to auto-shutoff and then a full uninterrupted charge; the IC resets its top-of-curve reference to match the new cell's actual 4.2V ceiling.
