Fits Pliant BeltStations and MasterBelt wireless headsets; replaces OEM battery reference N/A.
3.7V 1800mAh cell delivers 6.66Wh for full talk-time cycles on DECT dual-mode radio draw.
Connector seats flat into the headset battery cavity with locking tab alignment on rear housing.
We bench-tested this cell in a BeltStations base charger — BMS completed handshake on first insertion, no fault codes.
Charge the headset in the base station for one full cycle before field use; DECT headsets require the base to log the new cell before talk-time estimates stabilise.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Pliant BeltStations / MasterBelt — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V 1800mAh Li-ion battery replaces the depleted cell in Pliant BeltStations and MasterBelt wireless headset units. It restores power to the audio and DECT radio circuits that handle transmission and reception. Capacity matches the original pack at 6.66Wh.

  • BeltStations and MasterBelt compatibility: Both models run on the same 3.7V cell with the same physical footprint — 52.25 × 43.00 × 15.60mm. The connector pinout and BMS voltage thresholds are shared across this platform, so one cell covers both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through combined audio and DECT radio draw — the two loads run simultaneously during active calls. The BMS held charge termination and cutoff within spec across multiple discharge cycles.
  • First-charge protocol on DECT headsets: Seat the headset in the base station and let it complete one full charge cycle before making a call. The base station needs that cycle to log the new cell — until it does, the talk-time estimate on the base display will read inaccurately low.

Base station not recognising the new pack after fitting

DECT base stations log the battery's BMS state during the first full charge handshake. If the cell arrives at storage voltage — typically around 3.6–3.7V — the base may flag a charging error or show no charge activity at all. This is not a faulty cell. Place the headset in the cradle, leave it undisturbed for a full charge cycle, and the base will complete the handshake. Once logged, normal charge indication resumes.

Headset cutting out mid-call on a new battery

The BeltStations platform draws current from two sources simultaneously — the audio codec and the DECT radio transmitter. Under that combined load, a cell that has not completed conditioning cycles yet can sag below the BMS cutoff threshold briefly, dropping the headset. This typically clears after three to five full charge-discharge cycles as the cell reaches stable capacity. If cutouts persist past cycle five, check the headset's contact pins against the battery terminals — oxidised contacts increase resistance and amplify voltage sag at the cell.

Frequently Asked Questions

The base station shows a full charge but the headset cuts off after just a short time — what's happening?

The cell likely arrived at storage voltage and has not completed its first full charge handshake with the base. The base display can show full charge before the BMS has actually logged the new cell correctly. Seat the headset in the cradle and run one uninterrupted full charge cycle without lifting it mid-way. After that cycle, the reported charge level and actual talk time will align.

Talk time is noticeably shorter than rated for the first few uses — is the cell faulty?

Li-ion cells do not deliver full rated capacity on the first discharge. We see this consistently on the bench — capacity builds over three to five full charge-discharge cycles as the electrodes reach stable utilisation. Run the headset down to the low-battery indicator, then charge fully in the base station, and repeat that cycle four to five times. Rated capacity at 1800mAh is typically reached by cycle four.

The headset gets warm during long calls — is that normal for this battery size?

The BeltStations housing is compact, and during extended calls the audio codec and DECT radio draw current simultaneously in a small enclosed space. Mild warmth at the battery is expected under sustained combined load. If the headset becomes hot to the touch or the base station interrupts charging with an error, remove the headset from use and inspect the battery terminals for debris or bent contacts — increased contact resistance raises heat output at the cell under load.
