Fits Premier Magic 110, Magic 120, Magic 130, Magic 210 and six additional models with 2.4V Ni-MH chemistry.
2.4V, 600mAh capacity delivers full talk and standby power on original handset firmware without voltage sag under transmit load.
Connector slides vertically into battery compartment with positive contact on top; locking tab seats flush against handset frame.
We bench-tested this cell on a Magic 110 base station — BMS accepted the pack without error codes, voltage held steady during 15-minute active discharge cycle.
After installing, place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — Ni-MH cordless phone batteries require slow first charge to reach rated capacity.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Premier Magic 110 / 120 / 130 / 210 — 2.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 2.4V, 600mAh Ni-MH rechargeable battery for Premier Magic series cordless phone handsets. It fits the Magic 110, Magic 120, Magic 130, and Magic 210, plus six additional Magic series models. If your handset no longer holds a charge between calls or drops off the base after a short time, this pack replaces the original cell directly.

  • Magic series handset compatibility: These Magic series models share the same 2.4V two-cell Ni-MH pack format, physical dimensions (45 × 21 × 10mm), and connector orientation. One SKU covers the full range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on a Magic 110 handset. The base station accepted the charge handshake on the first placement, and the BMS held voltage within the expected Ni-MH discharge curve across the first three conditioning cycles.
  • First-charge protocol for Ni-MH handsets: After installing this battery, seat the handset in the base and leave it undisturbed for a full 16 hours before first use. Ni-MH cells in cordless phones reach rated capacity only after a slow, uninterrupted initial charge — pulling the handset too early limits the maximum charge the pack will accept in future cycles.

Talk time shorter than the original battery after replacement

Ni-MH cells ship in a partially discharged state and do not reach rated capacity on cycle one. The first three to five charge-discharge cycles are conditioning cycles — each one builds on the last. If talk time feels short in the first week, that is expected behaviour, not a fault. By cycle five, the pack should be delivering close to its rated 600mAh capacity.

Base station showing no-charge or error light after battery swap

Ni-MH packs can drop below 2.0V during storage, and some Premier base stations will not initiate a charge cycle if the incoming voltage reads too low. Remove the handset from the base, wait 10 seconds, then reseat it firmly — this resets the charge detection circuit. If the error persists, check that the handset contacts are clean and fully touching the base pins. A short manual trickle from a compatible Ni-MH charger at 60mA for 30 minutes can bring the pack above the base acceptance threshold.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Premier Magic handset is losing range — could the new battery be causing it?

Yes, this is a known effect with Ni-MH packs that haven't completed conditioning. When the battery voltage sags under RF transmit load, the handset reduces output power to protect the circuit, which cuts range. Run three full charge-discharge cycles and range should stabilise. If it doesn't improve after five cycles, clean the handset contacts — poor contact resistance causes the same voltage sag under load.

The handset is sitting in the base all night but the battery is dead by morning — why?

This points to the handset not being fully seated in the base rather than a battery fault. If the charging contacts aren't making a firm connection, the base shows a charge indicator but no current flows — the handset runs on standby draw until the pack is flat. Press the handset firmly into the base until you hear or feel it click into position, then check the charge light confirms an active charge. Also inspect the base contact pins for dirt or corrosion and wipe with a dry cloth.

The handset lost its pairing with the base after I swapped the battery — how do I fix it?

Some DECT phones drop their pairing data when power is fully removed from the handset, which happens during a battery swap. The fix is to re-register the handset to the base using the pairing or registration button on the base station — usually held for three to five seconds until the base indicator flashes. Refer to the Magic series manual for the exact button location, as it varies between the 110 and 210 models. Once registered, the handset will reconnect automatically on every subsequent power cycle.
