Python 7752P / 7754P — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery

This 3.7V, 120mAh lithium-polymer cell replaces the internal battery in the Python 7752P and 7754P remote start and keyless entry fobs. When the original cell depletes, the remote loses signal strength and stops triggering the vehicle's start or lock functions. This cell restores power to the fob's transmitter circuit.

• 7752P and 7754P fob compatibility: Both remotes share the same internal PCB layout and battery footprint — same 3.7V supply rail, same connector orientation, and the same BMS handshake with the fob's transmitter logic. One cell covers both models.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the fob's transmitter circuit and confirmed stable voltage delivery across repeated button presses. The BMS held cutoff at the correct low-voltage threshold without tripping prematurely.
• Re-sync after installation: After replacing the battery, re-sync the remote to the Python control module. Any power interruption to the fob resets its rolling code state — the system will not respond to commands until the programming sequence is completed.

Remote start not activating after battery swap

Swapping the fob battery interrupts power to the remote's microcontroller, which clears the rolling code counter. The Python control module will not respond to a fob transmitting an unrecognised code sequence. This is not a battery fault — it is a security feature of the system. Reduced range in the first few uses after swapping the cell

A new lithium-polymer cell ships at storage voltage — typically around 3.6V — not at full charge. The fob's transmitter draws peak current during each button press, and at storage voltage the output power is slightly lower than at a full 3.7V charge. Range will normalise after the cell reaches full charge through a few normal charge cycles. If range stays short beyond that, check that the fob casing is fully closed — any gap affects the antenna ground plane.
