Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Viper 7752V Series — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (GEB402025)
This 3.7V 120mAh lithium-polymer cell replaces the GEB402025 battery inside Viper remote fobs including the 7752V, 7351V, 7752P, and 7752X. It powers the handheld transmitter used for remote start, lock, unlock, and alarm control on Viper-equipped vehicles. The cell measures 24.70 x 20.30 x 3.70mm — confirm your fob dimensions before ordering.
- 7752V, 7351V, 7752P, 7752X fob compatibility: These transmitters share the same PCB footprint and connector layout, drawing power from a single Li-Polymer cell at 3.7V nominal. One cell swap covers all models in this group without circuit modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on compatible fob hardware. The BMS held stable voltage across repeated button-press loads, with no drop-out events detected during testing.
- Re-sync after replacing the fob battery: Viper remote start systems lose their pairing state when the fob loses power entirely. After fitting this cell, stand within three metres of the vehicle and run the transmitter programming sequence outlined in your Viper system's installation guide — the fob will not trigger remote start until that sequence completes.
Remote start not activating after battery swap
Viper remote start modules use a rolling code protocol between the fob and the control module. When the fob battery dies completely, the rolling code counter in the transmitter resets, putting it out of sync with the module. Pressing the start button will appear to do nothing — the module receives the signal but rejects the code. Re-enter programming mode on the control module, then press the button sequence on the fob to re-establish sync; the exact steps vary by installer but typically involve turning the ignition to the on position two to three times within five seconds.
Reduced range immediately after fitting a new cell
Li-Polymer cells ship at storage voltage — typically around 3.6V — not full charge. At storage voltage, RF transmit power from the fob is slightly lower than at a full 4.2V, which shortens usable range. This is not a fault with the cell or the fob. Charge the fob fully via the vehicle's charging cable or cradle before judging range; after one complete charge cycle, output voltage stabilises and range returns to normal.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Viper fob sends a signal but the alarm keeps triggering instead of starting the car — what's happening?
When the control module detects a sudden power interruption to the fob, some Viper systems flag it as a tamper event and hold the alarm active. The module is not ignoring the fob — it's waiting for a disarm input before accepting start commands. Run the system's disarm sequence: on most Viper installs this means pressing the unlock button twice on the fob within three seconds, or using the valet button inside the vehicle to exit tamper mode.
The keyless entry buttons work but remote start does nothing — could it be the rolling code?
Yes. Lock and unlock use a simpler signal path and often re-sync automatically, while remote start relies on a validated rolling code sequence that requires manual re-pairing after any power loss. The control module accepts entry commands but blocks start commands until the code is re-matched. Put the ignition in the on position, press and hold the start button on the fob for three seconds, then cycle the ignition off — this triggers re-pairing on most Viper DEI-platform modules.
The fob worked for two days after the battery swap and then stopped responding entirely — what causes that?
A two-day window followed by complete failure usually points to the replacement cell not seating fully against the contacts, causing intermittent connection that drains the cell through arcing rather than normal use. Open the fob, remove the cell, and clean both contact pads with isopropyl alcohol. Reseat the cell and confirm it sits flat with no flex in the connector; check voltage at the pads with a multimeter — it should read at least 3.7V before reassembly.
