Fits Radiant MAX 5G, Dream 5G, and EA211001 models; replaces OEM battery CS-CKA211SL.
3.87V, 4600mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers 17.8Wh to run processor, display, and modem without throttling.
Connector seats flush into the battery slot with no locking tab; orientation marked on the housing.
We bench-tested the BMS on a MAX 5G unit; fuel gauge IC accepted the new cell after one full discharge-charge cycle without reporting errors.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the coulomb counter recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before USB-PD current pushes into an uncalibrated fuel gauge.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Radiant MAX 5G / Dream 5G — 3.87V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery

This 3.87V, 4600mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original battery in the Radiant MAX 5G and Dream 5G smartphones (also listed as EA211001). It restores power to the processor, display, and cellular radio without requiring any firmware changes. Capacity figures come from our product data — 17.8Wh total stored energy.

  • MAX 5G and Dream 5G platform fit: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions (84.50 × 65.40 × 5.00mm), connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell services either device without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge cycle and confirmed the BMS accepted charge current correctly, voltage stepped through the expected Li-Polymer charge curve (CC→CV), and the protection circuit tripped cleanly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable fast charging for the first complete discharge-charge cycle after installation. This gives the fuel gauge IC time to build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging begins pushing current into an uncalibrated coulomb counter.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

The fuel gauge IC in the MAX 5G was calibrated to the discharge curve of the original cell. A new cell with a different internal resistance profile will cause the IC to misjudge remaining capacity, triggering a protective shutdown when the reported percentage still looks safe. The modem and display draw a combined load spike that the uncalibrated gauge cannot predict accurately. Run one full discharge to 0% and a full charge to 100% without interruption — this resets the coulomb counter baseline and the shutdowns stop.

USB-PD fast charge not accepting on the first cycle after replacement

On the first charge cycle, a new Li-Polymer cell presents higher internal impedance than the depleted original. Some charge ICs on this platform interpret that elevated impedance as a fault condition and fall back to standard 5V/1A charging rather than negotiating the higher USB-PD voltage. This is not a defective battery — it resolves after one full charge cycle as the cell's impedance drops into the expected range. If fast charge still does not activate after the second cycle, check that the USB-PD cable and adapter are rated at the correct wattage for this device.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Radiant MAX 5G keeps shutting off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — what's happening?

The fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it mapped from the old cell. When the modem or screen pulls a load spike, the IC cannot accurately predict the voltage drop on the new cell and triggers a shutdown before the battery is actually empty. Run one uninterrupted discharge all the way to 0% followed by a full charge to 100% with fast charging disabled. After that single calibration cycle, the shutdowns stop.

The phone won't turn on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few weeks before I installed it — is the battery dead?

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if voltage dropped below roughly 2.5V per cell, the BMS entered a lockout state to prevent damage. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a computer USB port — and leave it for 30 to 60 minutes without pressing any buttons. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage recovers above the BMS re-enable threshold, at which point the phone will boot normally. If no charge indicator appears after an hour, try a different USB-C cable and adapter rated at 5V/2A minimum.

The battery percentage on my MAX 5G is jumping around erratically — it went from 60% to 41% in two minutes without me doing anything heavy.

The coulomb counter in the fuel gauge IC is recalibrating itself against the new cell's actual discharge characteristics. It has not yet built a full internal model of how voltage maps to remaining capacity on this specific cell. The erratic readings settle down after one or two complete discharge-charge cycles. Complete the first cycle with fast charging off and let the device reach 0% naturally before plugging in.
