This 11.4V, 4550mAh (51.87Wh) lithium-polymer battery replaces the OEM RC30-0196 cell in the Razer Blade Stealth 2016 V2 and Blade Stealth i7-7500U. It fits RZ09-01964E31, RZ09-0196G10, and over 20 confirmed model variants sharing the same connector and BMS handshake. Install it when the original cell no longer holds charge or the laptop refuses to power on from battery alone.

• RZ09-0196 platform fit: All listed Blade Stealth variants in this series use the same 3-cell Li-Polymer pack, identical 40-pin flex connector, and the same BMS communication protocol — which is why one part number covers the full range.

The Blade Stealth's BIOS reads health data stored in the old cell's EEPROM. When you fit a new cell, that stored data is gone — the BIOS has no learned baseline yet, so it flags the battery as degraded or unknown. This is a calibration state, not a fault with the replacement. The BIOS needs one full discharge-to-hibernate cycle followed by an uninterrupted full charge to write new reference data. After that single cycle, health reporting returns to normal.

This happens when the fuel gauge IC's charge map no longer matches the actual cell chemistry — it's a calibration mismatch, not a dead battery. The fix is a calibration cycle: let the laptop discharge fully to hibernate, then charge to 100% in one session. After two to three of these cycles, the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell and the premature shutdowns stop.
