Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung M60 Aura T5450 Chartiz — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (AA-PB2NC3B)
This 11.1V 4400mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Samsung M60 Aura series notebooks, including the T5450 Chartiz, T7500 Calipa, and T7500 Cruza. It matches the original voltage rail and connector pinout, so no adapter or modification is needed. Capacity is 4400mAh (48.84Wh), drawn from the product specification — not estimated.
- M60 Aura series compatibility: The T5450 Chartiz, T7500 Calipa, and T7500 Cruza all share the same battery bay dimensions, 11.1V three-cell voltage rail, and SMBus communication protocol. One cell covers the full range without any hardware modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on M60-series hardware. The BMS handshook correctly over SMBus, charge acceptance reached full capacity, and no protection cutoffs triggered during discharge under combined CPU and display load.
- Post-install calibration on the M60 series: After fitting this cell, run the laptop on battery until it hibernates at cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This forces the BIOS battery learn cycle to reset against the new cell's actual capacity and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.
BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after installing this cell
The Samsung M60 BIOS reads health data from EEPROM registers stored in the battery's fuel gauge IC. When a new cell arrives, those registers reflect factory defaults — not real charge history on your specific unit. The BIOS compares these defaults against its learned values from the old cell and flags a mismatch as poor health. One full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% rewrites the learn cycle and clears the warning. After two or three cycles, reported health should read normal.
Laptop shutting down at 20–30% shown on the fuel gauge
This happens when the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold under full load before the fuel gauge expects it. On the M60 series, running CPU-intensive tasks alongside full display brightness creates a current draw that causes a rapid voltage cliff in the lower charge range. The fuel gauge IC hasn't yet calibrated its discharge curve against the new cell, so its percentage estimate lags behind the actual voltage drop. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate cycles to let the IC map the new cell's voltage curve — the cutoff point should stabilise above 10% after that.

Frequently Asked Questions
My M60 shows the new battery as 0% or "unknown" in Windows — is the cell faulty?
It's not a faulty cell. The fuel gauge IC in a new battery carries factory EEPROM data that Windows' power management stack doesn't recognise as a valid charge state yet. Run the laptop on battery until it hibernates, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that first full cycle, the OS fuel gauge re-initialises against the new cell and the percentage reads correctly.
Windows Battery Report shows the new cell's Wh rating as lower than the 48.84Wh on the spec sheet — why?
The Wh figure Windows pulls comes from the battery's EEPROM, which stores a rated design capacity written at manufacture. After the cell leaves the factory, actual measured capacity on first bench cycles can read slightly below that rated value. The spec sheet lists design capacity; Windows reports the full-charge capacity the fuel gauge IC has recorded so far. Run two complete discharge-charge cycles and the reported Wh figure will converge toward 48.84Wh.
The M60 charges to 80% then stops — it won't go past that no matter how long it stays plugged in.
Samsung's BIOS on some M60 firmware revisions includes a charge limit setting that caps charging at 80% to reduce cell wear. This is a firmware control, not a fault with the replacement cell. Check the Samsung Battery Manager utility in Windows — if it's installed, open it and confirm the charge mode is set to "Full Charge" rather than "Long-life" or "Custom." Switch the mode, unplug, wait 30 seconds, then reconnect the AC adapter and the charge should continue to 100%.
