Fits Samsung Midas and SC-06D models, replaces EB-L1H2LLU, EB-L1H2LLD, SC07, ASC29087.
3.7V, 4200mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full power restoration to aging Midas phones losing charge capacity.
Connector seats flush into the original battery slot with standard locking tab engagement—no modification needed.
Bench testing showed normal BMS handshake on first insertion; fuel gauge IC required one full discharge-charge cycle to sync with new cell curve.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle—this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before USB-PD pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Midas / SC-06D — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (EB-L1H2LLU)

This is a 3.7V, 4200mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Samsung Midas and SC-06D smartphones. It carries OEM part numbers EB-L1H2LLU and EB-L1H2LLD and slots into these devices as a direct cell replacement. Total energy is 15.54Wh.

  • Midas and SC-06D compatibility: Both models run the same 3.7V single-cell architecture with the same connector pinout and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers both devices without hardware modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and load cycles on the Midas platform. The BMS communicated correctly with the charge IC, accepted a full charge without thermal flags, and held voltage under screen-on and modem load without dropping below the cutoff threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installing this cell, run one full discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% before re-enabling fast charging. The Midas fuel gauge IC calibrates its coulomb counter against the discharge curve of the new cell during this cycle. Skipping it causes erratic percentage readings for weeks.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Midas after a cell swap

This is a voltage cliff problem, not a capacity problem. The Midas fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. When a fresh cell with a different curve hits the same voltage point, the IC reads it as critically low and triggers an emergency shutdown before the cell is actually depleted. The fix is one complete discharge-charge cycle with fast charging off, which forces the coulomb counter to relearn the new curve. After that cycle, shutdowns before 15% should stop.

Midas not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If this battery sat below 2.5V per cell before installation, the BMS enters lockout mode and blocks all charge current to prevent damage. The phone shows nothing — no charge screen, no vibration. Connect it to a 5V USB charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The BMS needs trickle current to climb back above the lockout threshold, typically around 2.9V, before it will accept a normal charge or allow the device to boot.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Midas shows 25% battery and then just shuts off — is this a faulty cell?

Almost certainly not a faulty cell. The Midas fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the discharge curve of your old battery, so it misreads where the new cell's voltage cliff actually sits and cuts power early. Run one full discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% with fast charging disabled. After that single cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates to the new cell and early shutdowns stop.

Fast charging stopped working on my Midas after fitting the replacement battery — what's wrong?

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the Midas charge IC can reject the proprietary fast-charge handshake if the BMS hasn't yet confirmed cell health to the charge controller. Complete one full charge at standard 5V USB before attempting fast charging. Once the BMS logs a clean cycle, the charge IC re-enables the higher current protocol on the next plug-in.

The phone gets noticeably warm near the battery while charging after the swap — should I be concerned?

A new high-impedance cell generates more heat during initial charging than a broken-in one, so mild warmth in the first two or three cycles is normal. If the phone gets hot enough to trigger a temperature warning on screen, disconnect immediately and check that the battery connector is fully seated — a loose pin increases resistance and raises heat significantly. Warmth should reduce to normal levels by the third full charge cycle.
