Fits SmarTab ST7150 tablet; replaces OEM battery GSP3070100 directly.
3.7V, 2500mAh Li-Polymer cell restores full charge capacity to the ST7150 after original cell aging or degradation.
Connector seats flat into the tablet's battery slot with standard locking tab; no adapter needed.
Bench testing showed clean BMS handshake on first insertion; voltage curve tracked expected discharge under combined display and WiFi load.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC against the new cell and fixes inaccurate percentage display that appears after a swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

SmarTab ST7150 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (GSP3070100)

This is a 3.7V, 2500mAh Li-Polymer cell replacing part number GSP3070100 in the SmarTab ST7150 tablet. It powers the display, processor, and wireless radios. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds a usable charge through a normal session.

  • ST7150 fit specifics: The ST7150 uses a flat Li-Polymer pouch cell on a dedicated connector tied directly to the charge IC. The GSP3070100 footprint — 100.50 × 69.80 × 3.20mm — must match exactly or the battery bay won't close and the connector won't seat.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the ST7150 board. The charge IC accepted the new cell without fault codes, BMS handshake completed on first cycle, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff — do not force it off — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This single full cycle lets the fuel gauge IC measure the new cell's actual capacity and clears the miscalibrated percentage readings that appear right after installation.

Why the ST7150 shuts down between 15–25% after a battery swap

The ST7150's fuel gauge IC stores capacity data calibrated to the original cell. When a new cell goes in, the IC's internal model is still mapped to the old, degraded cell — so it calls an early cutoff. The tablet isn't actually empty at 20%; the gauge just thinks it is. One full discharge-to-shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the calibration. After that cycle, the reported percentage should track the real cell state accurately.

Fast charging unavailable on the ST7150 after battery replacement

Some ST7150 units won't negotiate fast charge on the first session after a battery swap — the charge IC pauses fast-charge protocol until it completes one accepted standard charge cycle with the new cell. Plug in using the original cable and charger and let the first charge run to 100% without interruption. After that initial cycle, fast charge negotiation resumes normally. If it still doesn't activate, verify the charger output matches the ST7150's rated input — an underpowered adapter will lock the IC to standard charge permanently.

Frequently Asked Questions

My SmarTab ST7150 shows 80% battery right after a full charge — is the new battery faulty?

The battery itself is fine. The fuel gauge IC on the ST7150 board was calibrated against the old, worn cell — it doesn't automatically re-map to the new cell's capacity on the first charge. Run the tablet down until it shuts off on its own, then charge it uninterrupted to 100%. That single full cycle gives the gauge IC enough data to recalibrate, and the percentage display should read accurately after that.

The ST7150 feels warm near the charging port while the new battery is charging — is something wrong?

Warmth at the charge IC during the first few cycles on a new cell is expected. The charge IC on the ST7150 runs a conditioning phase when it first sees a fresh cell — current draw is slightly higher than steady-state, which generates more heat. If the tablet stays warm well past a full charge or gets hot to the touch, disconnect it and check that the connector is fully seated — a partially connected cell forces the IC to work harder. Normal operating temperature at the back panel should be below 40°C.

Why does my ST7150's battery percentage drop fast from 100% but then slow down after 70%?

This is fuel gauge drift — the IC's discharge curve model doesn't match the new cell yet, so it reports an accelerated drop at the top of the range. It's a calibration issue, not a cell defect. Run one complete discharge cycle to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the tablet. After that cycle the IC recalculates the discharge curve against actual cell voltage and the percentage should step down at an even rate across the full range.
