Fits SoftBank X02HT smartphone; replaces OEM part number LIBR160 and 35H00082-00M.
3.7V, 2250mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 8.33Wh to restore full charge cycles on aging X02HT units.
Connector slides into original battery slot with standard locking tab; no adapter required.
We bench-tested this cell in an X02HT unit; BMS accepted the charge without early cutoff or thermal event.
On first power-up, let the phone run through one complete discharge-charge cycle before heavy use — the fuel gauge IC needs to recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve to report accurate percentage.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

SoftBank X02HT — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LIBR160)

This 3.7V, 2250mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the SoftBank X02HT Windows Mobile smartphone. It matches the OEM footprint at 54.13 × 40.57 × 10.84mm and uses part numbers LIBR160 and 35H00082-00M. Capacity figure is taken directly from product data — 8.33Wh.

  • X02HT fitment: The X02HT uses a single-cell 3.7V nominal pack with a proprietary connector pinout that carries thermistor data back to the charge IC. This replacement matches that pinout, so the phone's charge controller sees a valid cell and does not block charging.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the X02HT platform. The BMS accepted the charge handshake without triggering a fault, and the fuel gauge IC began tracking state-of-charge from the first cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installing this cell, run one complete discharge down to auto-shutoff and then charge uninterrupted to 100% before normal use. The X02HT fuel gauge IC carries its calibration curve from the old cell — one full cycle resets the coulomb counter baseline against the new cell's actual capacity.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the X02HT after a cell swap

The X02HT's charge IC was calibrated to the discharge curve of the original, degraded cell. A fresh cell has a steeper voltage drop near the end of discharge, and when the modem radio or display draws a short high-current burst, cell voltage dips below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. This is a voltage cliff, not a capacity problem. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by a full charge lets the fuel gauge IC re-map the new cell's curve and eliminates the premature cutoff.

Phone warm near the battery door during the first charge cycle

A new high-impedance cell presents more internal resistance on the first charge than a broken-in cell does. The X02HT charge IC responds by pushing a constant current into that resistance, which generates more heat than normal until the cell conditions through one cycle. If the phone feels warm but not hot and charging completes normally, this is expected. If the phone stays warm after the first full cycle, check that the battery door is seated flush — any gap reduces thermal transfer to the chassis and traps heat near the cell. Surface temperature should drop to ambient within five minutes of charge completion.

Frequently Asked Questions

My X02HT shows 35% battery and then just dies with no warning — is the replacement cell faulty?

This is a voltage cliff, not a defective cell. The fuel gauge IC on the X02HT was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so it reports charge remaining based on data that no longer matches the new cell. Under modem or screen load, the cell voltage dips below the BMS cutoff before the gauge reaches 0%. Run one full discharge to auto-shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — after that cycle the coulomb counter recalibrates to the new cell and the shutoffs stop.

The battery percentage on my X02HT is jumping around — it went from 60% to 45% in two minutes without heavy use.

Erratic percentage jumps are the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against an unfamiliar cell discharge curve. The X02HT stores the previous cell's capacity model in the gauge chip, and until a full reference cycle overwrites it, the reported percentage can jump by 10–20% with no real change in charge state. Complete one uninterrupted full discharge followed by a full charge to 4.2V, and the jumping stops once the IC has a complete reference curve for the new cell.

My X02HT won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it.

If a Li-ion cell self-discharges below roughly 2.5V per cell in storage, the BMS locks out to prevent damage and the phone will not respond to the power button or show a charging indicator. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything — the charge IC on the X02HT will trickle current into the cell to bring it above the BMS recovery threshold before switching to normal charge mode. If the charging LED does not appear within 30 minutes, try a different cable and confirm the charger outputs at least 5V at 500mA.
