Once above the alert threshold, the warning clears automatically.

My TaHoma Pad io is showing all my shades as unresponsive after I replaced the battery — what's happening?
The TaHoma Pad io loses its active motor registry on every power interruption and has to re-discover each paired device on the io-homecontrol mesh. This takes up to 90 seconds after the unit boots. If shades are still unresponsive after two minutes, open the TaHoma app, go to Settings, and manually trigger a device search to force the hub to re-poll its paired motors.
The battery I just installed seems to be draining much faster than the original — is something wrong?
Fast drain on the TaHoma Pad io usually points to a high polling interval set in the app, not a faulty cell. If the hub is set to check motor status or sync schedules every few minutes, it never enters deep standby and the cell runs down quickly. Open the TaHoma app, navigate to the device's advanced settings, and extend the polling interval — dropping from 5-minute to 15-minute checks cuts average idle draw significantly.
The TaHoma Pad io won't reconnect to the TaHoma app even after waiting — the hub light is on but the app says it's offline.
A solid power light with an app-side offline status means the hub completed its local boot but failed to re-register with Somfy's cloud relay — this is a different failure from a mesh re-join stall. It usually happens when the hub's stored session token expires during the power gap. In the TaHoma app, delete the hub from your account, then re-add it using the device's serial number printed on the base — re-pairing issues a fresh session token and restores cloud connectivity.
