Fits Sony Xperia 10 Plus (OEM part 12390586-00) and i3223, i4293, i4213 variants.
3.85V, 2800mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full charge capacity to aged batteries.
Connector slides straight into the original slot with a single locking tab alignment.
We cycled the cell through full discharge-charge on an Xperia 10 Plus; BMS accepted the pack without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Sony Xperia 10 Plus — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (12390586-00)

This 3.85V, 2800mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original battery in the Sony Xperia 10 Plus. It fits the i3223, i4293, and i4213 model variants. The OEM part number is 12390586-00, and the cell dimensions match the factory tray at 82.40 × 59.55 × 3.70mm.

  • Xperia 10 Plus variant compatibility: The i3223, i4293, and i4213 share the same battery tray geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers all three variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on an Xperia 10 Plus unit. The BMS accepted the cell, charge termination triggered correctly at 4.35V, and the fuel gauge IC completed its first-cycle calibration pass without fault codes.
  • First-cycle calibration tip: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Xperia 10 Plus after a cell swap

The Xperia 10 Plus uses a coulomb-counter fuel gauge IC that was calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve. When a new cell goes in, the stored curve no longer matches actual cell voltage under load. The modem and display draw sudden current spikes that cause the new cell's voltage to dip below the BMS cutoff threshold — even when the gauge still shows charge remaining. One full discharge-charge cycle with fast charging disabled resets the calibration baseline and eliminates the early shutdowns.

USB-PD fast charge not recognised on the first cycle after replacement

Some replacement cells present a slightly higher impedance on the first charge cycle, which causes the phone's charge IC to reject the USB-PD handshake and fall back to standard 5V charging. This is not a fault with the port or the cable. Complete one full charge cycle at standard speed — the cell's internal impedance drops as it conditions, and the charge IC will accept the fast-charge negotiation on the second cycle. Check the charging indicator in Settings after the second cycle to confirm fast charging is active.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Xperia 10 Plus powers off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC stored a discharge curve matched to the old, degraded cell and now cuts power when voltage sags under modem or screen load — even though charge remains. Run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% with fast charging turned off. That single cycle recalibrates the coulomb counter and the early shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my Xperia 10 Plus is jumping around erratically since the swap — what causes that?

The fuel gauge IC uses a learned model of the old cell to estimate state-of-charge. A new cell with a different discharge curve produces voltage readings the IC does not expect, so the percentage drifts or jumps. One full discharge-charge cycle — without interruption — forces the IC to rebuild its calibration table against the new cell. After that cycle, percentage reporting stabilises. If it does not, confirm the phone ran fully to shutdown rather than being topped up partway through.

The phone won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage for a few months — how do I recover it?

A battery stored in a discharged state can drop below 2.5V per cell, which triggers BMS lockout to prevent damage. The BMS will not respond to a normal charge signal in this state. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing any buttons — the charge IC delivers a low-current trickle to bring the cell voltage above the BMS re-enable threshold of approximately 2.8V. Once the charging LED or screen activates, the BMS has unlocked and normal charging will resume.
