Replaces Vivo B-M7 battery for S6 5G, G1 5G, and V1962 series smartphones.
3.87V nominal, 4350mAh capacity — sustains the display and processor through a full day of typical use.
Connector seats flush into the original battery slot with no locking tab; orientation marked on the cell body.
We ran a full charge cycle on the test unit; the BMS accepted input current without delay and held voltage stable under load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vivo S6 5G / G1 5G — 3.87V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B-M7)

The B-M7 is a 3.87V, 4350mAh Li-Polymer cell that powers the Vivo S6 5G and G1 5G (V1962, V1962A). It slots into the same battery bay as the original and connects to the same fuel gauge IC and charge controller. Capacity figures come from the product data — 16.83Wh at nominal voltage.

  • S6 5G / G1 5G platform fit: These models share the same mainboard layout, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers the full variant range listed — V1962 and V1962A included.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on S6 5G hardware. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and the charge IC transitioned through trickle, CC, and CV phases cleanly.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the S6 5G after a cell swap

A new Li-Polymer cell has a steeper voltage cliff than a worn cell the fuel gauge IC was originally trained on. When the S6 5G pulls high current — 5G modem switching, screen-on bursts — the cell voltage dips below the BMS cutoff threshold even though the reported percentage is still 20–30%. The phone interprets this as a hard low-voltage event and shuts down. One full slow-charge cycle after replacement retrains the coulomb counter and aligns the percentage display with the actual cell discharge curve.

USB fast charge not activating on the first cycle after replacement

Vivo's proprietary fast charge protocol requires a BMS handshake before the charge IC raises current above the standard 5V/1A baseline. On the first cycle with a new cell, the BMS may not complete that handshake until the cell has been charged once at standard rate. If fast charge fails to activate, complete one full standard charge, allow the phone to boot fully, then reconnect the original charger. Fast charge should negotiate correctly on the second cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Vivo S6 5G shuts off at around 25% after fitting the new B-M7 — what's causing it?

The fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. When the new cell's voltage drops sharply under modem or display load, the phone hits its BMS cutoff before the percentage reaches zero. Run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge fully at standard rate — no fast charging. After that cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates to the new cell and the early shutdowns stop.

The S6 5G won't power on at all after the B-M7 sat in storage — is the battery dead?

Li-Polymer cells that discharge below roughly 2.5V per cell in storage trigger a BMS lockout to prevent damage. The phone will not power on in this state. Connect the original charger and leave it for 30–60 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC runs a trickle pre-charge phase to bring the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold. Once the cell reaches approximately 3.0V, the BMS unlocks and the phone will boot normally.

Battery percentage is jumping around erratically on the S6 5G — reads 60%, then drops to 40%, then climbs back up.

Erratic percentage swings happen when the fuel gauge IC's stored cell model no longer matches the actual discharge curve of the installed cell. This is expected on the first few cycles after a replacement. The IC uses a coulomb counter that needs real charge and discharge data to anchor its estimates. Run two full slow charge-discharge cycles without fast charging — by the second cycle, the percentage display should track the actual cell voltage steadily.
