New packs sometimes trigger a charging fault on the MT2000 series cradle, even when the battery is otherwise fine. During fast-paced pick-and-pack scanning, the MT2070 and MT2090 can drop their wireless connection mid-shift. This happens because simultaneous scan-trigger inrush and 802.11 radio polling create a combined current draw spike that the BMS reads as an over-current event, briefly cutting output. The cell voltage needs to be above 3.6V at rest for the BMS to ride through those spikes without tripping. Keeping the pack topped up in the cradle between shifts is the direct fix — let it reach a full 4.2V before a high-frequency scanning session.
