Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

T-Mobile One 801E (PN07130 / M7) — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery
This is a 3.7V, 2300mAh lithium-polymer cell for the T-Mobile HTC One 801E, also listed as PN07130 and M7. It replaces the original internal battery when the existing cell has degraded and can no longer hold a full charge. Dimensions are 89.91 × 59.75 × 2.90mm — measure your original before fitting if you are unsure of the variant.
- One 801E / PN07130 / M7 compatibility: These three model designations share the same physical cell format, voltage rail, and connector pinout. The BMS handshake requirements across all three are identical, so one cell covers the full group.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge-discharge cycle on the One 801E platform. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, and charge termination triggered correctly at 4.2V.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's actual discharge curve before the charge IC pushes higher current into an uncalibrated cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the One 801E after a cell swap
This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. The new cell's voltage drops faster under modem and display load than the IC expects, so it hits the hardware cutoff before the reported percentage reaches zero. The fix is one full discharge-charge cycle with all background sync and screen brightness at normal levels — this forces the coulomb counter to re-anchor its endpoints. After that cycle, shutdowns at 20–30% stop on their own.
Phone warm near the battery area during the first few charges
A fresh high-impedance cell generates more heat during the first charge cycles than a worn cell does. The charge IC is pushing current into a cell with slightly higher internal resistance until it conditions down after a few cycles. This is normal and not a sign of a faulty cell. If the device stays warm past the third full charge, check that no third-party app is holding the CPU at full load during charging.

Frequently Asked Questions
My One 801E won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?
It's likely a BMS lockout, not a dead cell. If the cell self-discharged below 2.5V during storage, the protection circuit trips and blocks all output. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing any buttons. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage climbs back above the BMS recovery threshold, typically 2.9V, at which point the phone will boot normally.
The battery percentage on my One 801E jumps around erratically — showing 60%, then suddenly 45%, then back up — right after fitting this cell.
The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve and its coulomb counter endpoints are out of sync. Run one full uninterrupted discharge from 100% down to automatic shutdown, then charge straight back to 100% without interruption. That single cycle resets the IC's reference points and the percentage readings stabilise. Do not top up partway through or the counter loses its low-end anchor.
Fast charging stopped working on my One 801E after I swapped in this battery — it only charges slowly now.
On the first cycle after a cell replacement, the charge IC sometimes defaults to standard current until it completes one handshake cycle with the new BMS. This is a known behaviour on the M7 platform. Run one full charge at the slow rate to completion, then unplug and replug using your original fast charger. The USB negotiation re-runs with the newly initialised BMS and fast charge resumes at the correct current level.
