Fits Coolpad E600, D280, D520, E200 and replaces OEM battery CPLD-35.
This 3.7V 1150mAh cell restores full power capacity to devices that shut down prematurely or fail to charge.
Connector is flat blade type; battery slides into slot with contact pins facing the device connector housing.
We bench-tested this pack in an E600 test unit; BMS accepted voltage handshake on first insertion without fault codes.
On first charge after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Coolpad E600 / D280 / D520 / E200 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (CPLD-35)

This is a 3.7V, 1150mAh Li-ion cell built to the CPLD-35 specification. It fits the Coolpad E600, D280, D520, and E200 smartphones. Voltage and connector pinout match the original factory spec.

  • E600 / D280 / D520 / E200 platform fit: These four models share the same battery bay dimensions, 3.7V rail, and connector layout. One cell covers all four because the BMS handshake and contact positions are identical across the platform.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench. The BMS accepted charge without tripping the overcurrent cutoff, and the protection circuit responded correctly to simulated low-voltage conditions at the 2.5V threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first installation, run one full discharge to near-empty before charging to 100%. The phone's fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — skipping this step causes erratic percentage readings and early low-battery warnings.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Coolpad E600

This happens when the cell voltage drops below the modem's minimum rail requirement under load, even though the fuel gauge still reads 20–30%. A fresh replacement cell has a steeper discharge curve than the aged original — the phone's coulomb counter has not yet mapped it. The BMS cuts power before the displayed percentage reaches zero. One full discharge-charge cycle forces the fuel gauge IC to remap the curve against the new cell, and the shutdowns stop.

Phone warm near the battery during first few charges after replacement

A new cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in one. During the first charge cycles, the charge IC pushes current into a cell that is not yet at minimum impedance, and that resistance converts some energy to heat. This is normal and tapers off after three to five full cycles as impedance drops. If the device stays warm past five cycles, check that no third-party charging adapter is pushing voltage above 5V into this 3.7V nominal cell.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Coolpad E600 won't turn on at all after sitting in a drawer for a few months — is the battery dead?

Most likely the cell discharged below 2.5V in storage, which triggers a BMS lockout to prevent cell damage. Plug the phone into a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on — the charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell before the BMS will unlock normal operation. If the screen still shows nothing after that window, try a different cable and a wall adapter rather than a USB port, since wall adapters deliver consistent 5V where PC ports may not. Once the phone boots, check that cell voltage has recovered to at least 3.5V before running the device normally.

The battery percentage on my E600 is jumping around erratically after I fitted the replacement cell — what's causing that?

The fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it learned from the original degraded cell. When a new cell with a different impedance profile is installed, the coulomb counter's reference data no longer matches actual cell behaviour, so percentage readings jump. Run one complete discharge — use the phone until it shuts itself off — then charge uninterrupted to 100% without unplugging early. That single full cycle gives the fuel gauge IC enough data to recalibrate against the new cell, and the erratic readings settle.

Fast charging stopped working after I swapped the battery on my Coolpad E200 — it only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC on many Coolpad devices defaults to a conservative constant-current mode because it does not yet have impedance data for the new cell. This is a protective behaviour, not a fault. Charge the phone fully once at the slow rate, then disconnect and let it complete one discharge cycle. On the second charge, the IC re-evaluates cell impedance and typically restores the higher charge rate. If fast charging does not return after two full cycles, confirm the adapter output matches the required 5V/1A or 5V/2A specification for this 1150mAh cell.
