Fits T-Mobile Revvl 4 Plus models 5062W and 5062Z, replaces OEM battery TLP038D7.
This 3.85V Li-Polymer cell delivers 3850mAh capacity—enough to restore a full day of typical use on the Revvl 4 Plus after the original pack degrades.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot behind the rear cover; no adhesive removal needed on this model.
We bench-tested this pack on the Revvl 4 Plus; the BMS accepted a standard 5V/2A charge without fault codes and held voltage under moderate load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

T-Mobile Revvl 4 Plus — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (TLP038D7)

This is a 3850mAh Li-Polymer cell at 3.85V, built to replace the original TLP038D7 battery in the T-Mobile Revvl 4 Plus (models 5062W and 5062Z). It fits phones that have lost capacity after extended use or stopped holding a charge. Dimensions are 83.10 × 62.68 × 4.30mm — match these before installation.

  • Revvl 4 Plus 5062W and 5062Z compatibility: Both model variants share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell fits both without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the 5062 platform. The BMS accepted the cell on first connect, voltage held stable under screen-on and modem load, and charge termination triggered correctly at 4.35V.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-charge cycle at standard current. This allows the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Revvl 4 Plus after a cell swap

A new Li-Polymer cell has a slightly different voltage-to-capacity curve than the aged original. The fuel gauge IC still uses the old curve, so it reads 25% remaining when the actual cell voltage has already dropped below the modem's minimum threshold. Under a burst of LTE traffic or screen wake, the voltage sags further and the phone shuts down. One full discharge-charge cycle resets the coulomb counter and brings the reported percentage back in line with actual cell state.

USB fast charge not activating on the first cycle after replacement

On the first charge cycle after installation, the charge IC may default to trickle or standard current until it verifies the new cell's internal resistance and temperature profile. This is a BMS protection step, not a fault. Do not assume the cable or charger is defective. Complete one full standard-rate charge cycle — fast charge negotiation typically resumes normally from the second cycle onward.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Revvl 4 Plus shuts off at around 25% after putting in the new battery — is the battery faulty?

The battery is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC on the 5062 platform calibrated its discharge curve to the old, degraded cell. The new TLP038D7 cell has a different voltage profile, so the IC misreads remaining capacity and triggers a low-voltage shutdown before the percentage reaches zero. Run one complete discharge down to auto-shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% at standard rate. After that single cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates and shutdowns at 20–30% stop.

The phone doesn't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — how do I recover it?

Li-Polymer cells that sit uninstalled or in a discharged phone for months can drop below the BMS lockout threshold, typically around 2.5V per cell. The BMS will block all charge current as a safety measure, so the phone appears completely dead. Connect the phone to a wall adapter — not a PC port — and leave it for 15 to 20 minutes without pressing any buttons. The charge IC will apply a recovery trickle current to bring the cell voltage above the BMS re-enable threshold, after which normal charging resumes.

The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges — is that normal?

A new Li-Polymer cell starts with higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell. During the first one or two charge cycles, the charge IC pushes current into a cell that hasn't yet settled to its nominal resistance, which generates more heat than usual at the battery. Keep the phone out of a case for the first two charge cycles and charge at room temperature. If the back of the phone becomes hot to the touch — not just warm — disconnect and let it cool to room temperature before resuming.
