Fits Asus ZenFone 7, ZenFone 7 Pro (C11P1904, 0B200-03740200 OEM part numbers).
3.85V nominal, 4800mAh capacity delivers full runtime across processor, display, and connectivity loads.
Connector seats flush with internal slot; no locking tab — orientation is keyed to prevent reverse insertion.
We charged this cell in a ZenFone 7 test unit; the BMS accepted the pack without fault codes and voltage stabilized at 3.85V within two cycles.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus ZenFone 7 / ZenFone 7 Pro — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C11P1904)

This is a 3.85V, 4800mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Asus ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro smartphones (model numbers ZS670KS and ZS671KS). It replaces OEM part numbers C11P1904 and 0B200-03740200. The cell matches the original dimensions at 74.40 × 64.54 × 6.00mm, so it seats correctly in the battery bay without modification.

  • ZS670KS and ZS671KS compatibility: Both the ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro use the same C11P1904 cell with matching voltage rail, connector footprint, and BMS handshake — a single part number covers both models.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on ZS671KS hardware. The BMS accepted the charge IC handshake without fault codes, and voltage held stable across modem and display load.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable fast charging for the first complete discharge-charge cycle after installation. The fuel gauge IC calibrates its discharge curve against the new cell during this cycle — skipping it on a high-current charge pushes current into an uncalibrated cell and can cause early percentage errors.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the ZenFone 7 after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve from the degraded original cell. When the new cell's actual voltage drops under modem or display load, the OS receives a voltage reading it maps to near-empty on the old curve — and the phone shuts down before the percentage counter reaches zero. The fix is one full uninterrupted discharge-charge cycle with fast charging off. After that cycle, the coulomb counter resets against the new cell's actual curve and the shutdowns stop.

USB-PD fast charging not accepted on the first cycle after replacement

On the first charge after installation, the ZenFone 7's charge IC sometimes fails to negotiate the USB-PD fast charge contract with the new cell's BMS — the phone charges slowly or falls back to 5W standard charging. This is a one-cycle behaviour caused by the BMS completing its initial handshake with the charge IC. Plug into the same charger after that first full cycle and fast charging resumes at the correct wattage. If it persists beyond the second cycle, check that the cable supports USB-PD at 18V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My ZenFone 7 keeps shutting off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve from the old degraded battery, so it misreads the new cell's voltage under load and triggers a shutdown before the counter hits zero. Run one full discharge-charge cycle with fast charging disabled — the coulomb counter recalibrates against the new cell curve and the shutdowns stop. If it still cuts out after two full cycles, check that nothing is drawing background load during the discharge.

The battery percentage is jumping around — showing 60%, then dropping to 40%, then back up — right after fitting the replacement.

Erratic percentage jumps are a fuel gauge IC recalibration symptom, not a cell fault. The IC's internal model no longer matches the new cell's actual voltage-to-capacity curve, so it guesses and corrects repeatedly. One complete discharge down to auto-shutdown followed by a full charge to 100% — with fast charging off — gives the IC enough data to lock onto the correct curve. After that cycle the percentage stabilises.

The phone is noticeably warm near the battery while charging — is that normal with a new cell?

Some warmth is expected on the first few charge cycles with a new Li-Polymer cell. A fresh cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates more energy as heat while current flows in. Warmth that is uncomfortable to hold against skin, or that persists beyond the third charge cycle, points to a charge IC fault or a pinched connector — check that the battery flex cable is fully seated and the connector latch is fully closed before ruling out hardware.
