Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

T-Mobile Revvl 6 Pro 5G — 3.87V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (TM001)
This 3.87V, 4500mAh (17.42Wh) Li-Polymer battery replaces the original TM001 cell in the T-Mobile Revvl 6 Pro 5G, TMAF035G, and Revvl V Plus 5G smartphones. It targets phones that shut down unexpectedly, drain fast under 5G load, or no longer hold a charge through a normal day. Dimensions are 88.00 × 62.70 × 4.00mm — a direct physical match to the original cell bay.
- Revvl 6 Pro 5G / TMAF035G / Revvl V Plus 5G fitment: All three models share the TM001 cell format, voltage rail, and connector pinout. The BMS handshake on each device expects a 3.87V nominal cell — this replacement meets that requirement without triggering a voltage mismatch fault.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Revvl 6 Pro 5G platform. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, fast charge negotiation completed on the second cycle, and the fuel gauge IC tracked state-of-charge without erratic jumps after one full calibration cycle.
- First-cycle calibration tip: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC calibrates its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve — running fast charge into an uncalibrated cell causes the OS to misread remaining capacity from the first day.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Revvl 6 Pro 5G
A degraded original cell develops high internal impedance. Under the combined load of a 5G modem, screen, and background apps, the cell voltage collapses faster than the fuel gauge IC can track — the phone shuts off while the OS still shows 20–30% remaining. This is a voltage cliff, not a capacity readout error. The new 4500mAh cell has lower impedance, so it sustains voltage under peak load without that cliff. After one full discharge-charge cycle, the fuel gauge IC recalibrates its curve to the new cell and percentage readings stabilise.
USB-PD fast charge not accepted on the first cycle after fitting
On the first charge after a cell swap, the Revvl 6 Pro 5G charge IC sometimes falls back to standard 5W charging instead of negotiating fast charge. This happens because the charge IC rechecks BMS parameters on first contact with a new cell and may not complete the handshake until the cell has been partially cycled. Plug in via USB-PD, let the first charge run to 100% at whatever rate it accepts, then unplug and reconnect — fast charge negotiation completes correctly on the second cycle. If it still defaults to 5W after two cycles, check that the cable and adapter both support USB-PD at 18W or above.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Revvl 6 Pro 5G shows a completely different battery percentage after fitting the new cell — it jumped from 45% to 8% in ten minutes. What's happening?
The fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve it mapped to your old, degraded cell. The new 4500mAh cell has a different voltage-to-capacity profile, so the coulomb counter gives inaccurate readings until it recalibrates. Run one full discharge — let the phone shut itself off — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that single cycle the fuel gauge IC resets its baseline to the new cell and percentage readings stabilise.
The phone gets noticeably warm around the battery area during the first few charges after the swap — is that normal?
A fresh Li-Polymer cell starts with slightly higher impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC puts more energy into the cell resistance as heat during the first few cycles. This is normal and reduces after two or three full charge cycles as the cell's impedance settles. Keep the phone out of a case for the first two charges so heat can dissipate freely. If the phone still runs hot after five cycles, check that you are not charging on a wireless pad at maximum power — wired charging produces less heat on a new cell.
The Revvl 6 Pro 5G won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I got around to fitting it — is the battery dead?
Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage and can drop below 2.5V per cell, which triggers a BMS lockout to prevent damage. The phone will not power on from this state. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 30–45 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold, typically around 3.0V, at which point the BMS releases the lockout and the phone powers on normally.
