Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

T-Mobile REVVL V 4G — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (JU001)
This 3.85V Li-Polymer cell replaces the original JU001 battery in the T-Mobile REVVL V 4G and TMRVL4G smartphones. It delivers 4000mAh (15.4Wh) of capacity — matching the factory specification. If your phone shuts down early, charges slowly, or won't hold a charge, this swap restores normal operation.
- REVVL V 4G and TMRVL4G fit: Both model references point to the same hardware platform — same battery bay dimensions (80.00 × 65.30 × 4.60mm), same 3.85V rail, and the same BMS connector pinout. No adapter or modification needed.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the REVVL V 4G platform. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, and the charge IC communicated normally with the fuel gauge IC throughout.
- First-cycle calibration on the REVVL V 4G: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell — preventing inaccurate percentage readings from the first day.
Why the REVVL V 4G reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The REVVL V 4G uses a coulomb counter that builds a charge map against the original cell's impedance profile. When you install a new cell, the stored map no longer matches the real discharge curve. The phone reads voltage and estimates state-of-charge from stale data, so the percentage display drifts — often reading 10–15% higher or lower than actual charge. One full discharge to device shutdown, followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, forces the fuel gauge IC to write a fresh calibration map against the new cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
This happens when the modem or screen draws a current spike the cell can't sustain at that state-of-charge — voltage sags below the BMS cutoff threshold and the phone shuts off instantly. It's not a defective battery; it's the fuel gauge IC cutting power at what it thinks is a safe floor, based on a miscalibrated curve. Run one full discharge-charge cycle without interruption to reset the fuel gauge's voltage-to-capacity mapping. After calibration, the BMS cutoff realigns and shutdowns at 20–30% stop.

Frequently Asked Questions
My REVVL V 4G won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?
A Li-Polymer cell stored uncharged can drop below 2.5V, triggering a BMS lockout that blocks normal boot. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on. The charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell to bring voltage above the BMS recovery threshold before a full charge cycle will start. If the charge indicator light appears within that window, the cell is recovering normally.
Fast charging stopped working on my REVVL V 4G after I put in the new battery — it only charges slowly now.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the phone's charge IC sometimes defaults to a conservative trickle rate because the BMS on the new cell hasn't completed a full handshake with the fuel gauge IC. Complete one full charge to 100% on a standard charger without interruption. On the second cycle, reconnect your fast charger — the IC will have logged the new cell's impedance data and will accept the higher current rate.
The battery percentage on my REVVL V 4G keeps jumping around — it went from 45% to 31% in two minutes without me doing anything.
The coulomb counter is reading from a charge map calibrated to the old, degraded cell — the new cell's discharge curve is steeper and doesn't match that stored data, so the percentage jumps as the IC corrects itself in real time. Drain the phone fully until it shuts itself off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% with the screen off. That single complete cycle rewrites the fuel gauge calibration map to the new cell's actual voltage curve, and the percentage display stabilises from that point forward.
