Fits Techline Next Tech DX2 lawn mower, replaces OEM part 015E00600A.
25.9V and 2600mAh delivers consistent blade motor power across residential cutting cycles.
Connector slides into the mower pack slot with a single locking tab engagement.
We tested the BMS under thick-grass load — no early cutoff, thermal management normal.
Before spring use, bring the battery indoors overnight if outdoor temps are below 10°C to avoid cold-start BMS trips from blade motor inrush current.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Techline Next Tech DX2 — 25.9V Li-ion Replacement Battery (015E00600A)

This is a 25.9V 2600mAh (67.34Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Techline Next Tech DX2 cordless lawn mower. It also fits the Next Tech LX2, SX2, and D1, along with five additional models in the same platform. Use OEM part number 015E00600A to confirm fitment before ordering.

  • Next Tech DX2 / LX2 / SX2 platform: These models share a common 25.9V battery rail and the same BMS communication protocol. The connector pinout and cell group configuration are identical across the range, so one pack covers the full lineup without adapter modifications.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on a DX2 deck. The BMS handled motor inrush current on startup without false tripping, and cell balancing completed correctly at end-of-charge.
  • Seasonal storage before first spring use: If the mower sat in an unheated garage through winter, bring the battery indoors overnight before charging. Li-ion cells below 10°C have higher internal resistance, and the blade motor's inrush current on a cold pack can trip the BMS before the mower completes a single row.

BMS cutoff on thick-grass or wet-grass blade load

The DX2 blade motor draws significantly more current through dense or wet grass than on a dry, short lawn. If the instantaneous draw exceeds the BMS threshold — typically caused by a blade bogging through heavy clippings — the pack cuts power as a protection response. This is not a battery fault; it is the BMS preventing cell damage from sustained overcurrent. Slow your mowing pace in thick sections and allow the motor to run freely before pushing into dense growth.

Charger showing a fault light after the mower sat all winter

Li-ion packs self-discharge slowly during storage. A pack that sat unused for four to six months may drop below the charger's acceptance voltage threshold — usually around 20V for a 25.9V pack — causing the charger to display a fault or refuse to initiate a charge cycle. Some chargers recover the pack automatically with a slow pre-charge pulse; if yours does not, check the pack's resting voltage with a multimeter. A reading above 20V means the pack is recoverable — start a charge cycle and monitor the first 10 minutes for the fault light to clear.

Frequently Asked Questions

The mower cuts out halfway through a row, then starts again after a minute — what's happening?

This is thermal protection activating, not a battery defect. The blade motor generates heat under sustained load, and the BMS cuts output once internal cell temperature hits the protection threshold. Allow a 5-minute cooldown with the mower stopped and the battery in open air. If it happens repeatedly on the same lawn, the blade may be dull — a dragging blade draws more current and heats the pack faster.

The charger accepted the pack fine last autumn, but now it just blinks a fault code and won't charge — what's wrong?

The pack almost certainly dropped below the charger's minimum acceptance voltage during winter storage. Check the terminal voltage with a multimeter — on a 25.9V pack, anything above 20V is recoverable. If your charger has a recovery or recondition mode, activate it now. If not, a compatible charger with a pre-charge pulse function will bring the pack back up to acceptance voltage before switching to a full charge cycle.

The mower feels noticeably weaker on the first cold morning of spring — is the battery failing?

No — this is normal Li-ion behaviour below 10°C. Cold cells have higher internal resistance, which reduces the current they can deliver to the blade motor. The pack has not lost permanent capacity. Bring the battery indoors for several hours before mowing on cold mornings, and performance returns to normal once the cells reach room temperature. If weakness persists on warm days after five or more full cycles, then capacity fade is worth investigating.
