Fits Tellermate T-iX coin counter with OEM part numbers 115325, 470032P, BAT002.
3.7V and 1800mAh capacity powers barcode scanning and coin processing without interruption during retail or banking shifts.
Connector seats flush into the T-iX battery slot with positive terminal contact alignment — no locking tab, straight push-fit removal.
We bench-tested this cell in active scan mode; BMS held steady through rapid barcode burst cycles and coin feed operation.
After installing, charge fully in the T-iX dock before first operational use — the scan trigger draws peak inrush current on a depleted cell and can trip early cutoff.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Tellermate T-iX — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (115325 / 470032P / BAT002)

This 3.7V, 1800mAh Li-ion cell replaces the internal battery in the Tellermate T-iX coin counter and sorter. The T-iX uses this pack to power its barcode scanning module, coin processing logic, and display. It fits the T-iX platform only — confirm your model before ordering.

  • T-iX platform fit: The T-iX runs its barcode reader, coin-sort motor controller, and UI from a single 3.7V cell. The BMS on this pack matches the charge profile and cutoff thresholds the T-iX firmware expects — swap without reconfiguring the device.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through repeated scan-trigger and motor-start draws on a T-iX unit. The BMS held stable through combined inrush loads and did not trip on cold-start coin processing sequences.
  • First-shift charge protocol for the T-iX: Install the pack and run a full charge cycle before starting a coin-sort shift. The T-iX barcode scan trigger pulls the highest inrush current when the cell is near minimum charge — a pre-charged pack prevents false BMS cutoffs during the first tray of the day.

Cradle showing a charging error after fitting a new pack

The T-iX charging cradle reads contact resistance on the pack terminals to confirm a valid connection before starting a charge cycle. If the new pack's contacts have surface oxidation from storage, the cradle can flag a fault and refuse to charge. Wipe the gold contacts on the battery and the cradle with a dry cloth, then reseat the device firmly. Once contact resistance drops below the cradle's threshold, the charge indicator will switch from fault to active.

Barcode scanner not reading after a battery swap

The T-iX laser or imager module requires the cell to be above a minimum voltage before the scan trigger fires at full power. A new pack shipped in storage mode may sit below that threshold, causing the scanner to either miss reads or not activate at all. This is not a hardware fault — place the unit in its cradle and charge to at least 3.6V before attempting a scan. Once voltage is at operating level, barcode reads return to normal without any firmware reset.

Frequently Asked Questions

My T-iX is losing its wireless connection mid-shift after fitting the new battery — what's happening?

The T-iX radio module and the barcode scan trigger fire simultaneously during rapid scanning, and the combined inrush current can pull cell voltage down sharply if the pack is not fully charged. When voltage sags below the radio's minimum operating threshold, the wireless link drops. Charge the pack fully before the shift starts — a cell at 3.7V handles the combined draw without the voltage sag that triggers a disconnect. If drops persist on a fully charged pack, check that the pack contacts are clean and seated flush.

The T-iX feels warm after a long coin-sorting shift — is that a problem with the new cell?

Sustained coin-sort motor draws combined with continuous barcode scanning generate more heat than intermittent use, and the T-iX housing has limited airflow around the battery compartment. Some warmth is normal — a cell that is hot to the touch, or one that triggers a thermal cutoff mid-shift, points to a ventilation issue rather than a faulty pack. Clear the coin input tray periodically to reduce motor stall events, which spike current draw and heat output more than normal running cycles. If the unit shuts down from heat, let it rest for five minutes before restarting — the BMS will reset once the cell temperature drops.

The new battery doesn't seem to last as long through a shift as the original did — why?

Shallow cycling degrades capacity faster than full cycles in Li-ion cells, and a T-iX that is topped up frequently without full discharge-and-recharge cycles loses usable capacity over time. If the original pack was conditioned well, a freshly installed replacement at full charge will often outperform it — but only if the new pack is charged fully before its first shift. Run two or three full charge cycles from near-empty to full to let the BMS calibrate its state-of-charge window accurately. Check shift endurance again after three full cycles before drawing any conclusions about the pack's capacity.
