This is a 14.4V 2600mAh Li-ion battery pack for the Tesla iQ700 cordless vacuum cleaner range. It fits the iQ700, RoboStar iQ700, RoboStar iQ700 Plus, iQ400, and several additional models sharing the same 106600 battery platform. Voltage and capacity match the original specification exactly.

• iQ700 platform compatibility: These models share a common battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol under the 106600 specification. Swapping cells between compatible models works because the charger handshake and cutoff thresholds are identical across this platform.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the iQ700 motor platform. The BMS held cutoff cleanly at low voltage and accepted full charge without tripping the protection circuit — no false overtemperature flags during sustained suction load.
• Dock charging behaviour on this vacuum: The iQ700 charging dock does not terminate charge once the pack reaches full. Remove the vacuum from the dock when the charge indicator shows complete. Leaving it docked continuously accelerates capacity fade on Li-ion cells in this form factor.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws more current than rated — usually caused by a partially blocked filter forcing the motor to work harder. The BMS detects the elevated draw and the cell voltage sags under load, which the vacuum reads as low power before the indicator has caught up. The indicator measures resting voltage, not load voltage, so the gap between the two widens as the filter restriction increases. Check and clean the filter first — suction recovery under a clean filter confirms the battery is not the cause.

Motor cuts out mid-use then restarts after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. Sustained restricted airflow — from a clogged filter or blocked nozzle — pushes motor current above the protection threshold, and the BMS disconnects to prevent cell damage. The pack resets once temperature and current drop, which is why the vacuum restarts after 30–60 seconds. Clear the blockage and verify the filter is clean; if the cutout persists on an unobstructed vacuum, check that pack voltage at rest sits above 13.0V.
