Fits Toshiba E800, E805, E808, E800w PDAs and replaces OEM battery PA3330P-1BAS.
3.7V, 3800mAh lithium-ion cell restores full charge cycles to aging Pocket PC units.
Connector slides vertically into the battery slot with a single locking tab on the left side.
We bench-tested this pack on an E800 running Windows Mobile sync and calendar tasks — BMS accepted charge without fault and held voltage under load.
Sync all open files and contacts to your host computer before removing the old battery, since the E800 stores active data in RAM powered by the main cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Toshiba E800 / E805 / E808 / E800w — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (PA3330P-1BAS)

This is a 3.7V Li-ion replacement battery rated at 3800mAh (14.06Wh) for the Toshiba E800 series Pocket PC. It fits the E800, E805, E808, and E800w handhelds. The original PA3330P-1BAS cells degrade after several years, and this unit restores power to devices still running Windows Mobile for scheduling, contacts, and field applications.

  • E800 / E805 / E808 / E800w compatibility: All four models share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. The PA3330P-1BAS part number covers the entire E800 series — no modification or adapter required.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the E800 platform. The BMS handshake completed correctly, charge acceptance registered in Windows Mobile's power applet, and the protection circuit tripped at the expected low-voltage threshold.
  • Sync before you swap: The E800 stores open application state and unsaved data in SRAM powered directly by the main battery. Pull the battery without syncing first and that data is gone. Run ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center and confirm a full sync completes before removing the old cell.

Why the E800 won't boot after a fresh battery is installed

The E800 boot sequence requires a minimum voltage at the board before it will attempt to load Windows Mobile. A new cell shipped in storage state may sit below that threshold — typically around 3.0V — and the device will show nothing when you press the power button. This is not a dead battery or a faulty unit. Connect the charger and let the cell reach at least 3.4V before attempting to power on. The boot screen should appear within the first charge cycle.

E800 showing incorrect battery percentage after replacement

Windows Mobile reads the battery gauge through the BMS fuel gauge circuit, which calibrates itself against charge and discharge history. A fresh cell has no history, so the percentage readout is unreliable for the first one to two cycles. Run the device down until it triggers the low-battery warning, then charge it uninterrupted to 100%. After two full cycles the gauge should track accurately. If the percentage still jumps erratically after that, check that the battery contacts on the device are clean and making firm contact — oxidised pins cause intermittent BMS reads.

Frequently Asked Questions

My E800 lost all my contacts and calendar entries when I swapped the battery — is there any way to prevent this?

The E800 keeps contacts, calendar data, and open application state in SRAM, which is powered by the main battery. The moment that cell is removed, SRAM loses power and the data is gone. The fix is to run a full ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center sync to your PC before pulling the old battery — once that sync completes, your data is saved to the host and restores automatically on the next connection.

My E800 charges normally but battery life is much shorter than I expected — what's draining it?

The built-in Wi-Fi radio on the E800 and E800w draws significantly more current than the device does in standby or basic PIM use. If wireless sync is enabled and the radio is scanning for networks, the draw can be three to four times higher than with Wi-Fi off. Disable the wireless adapter under Settings > Connections when you don't need it, and check whether the battery life improves — most users find it does substantially.

The wireless sync on my E800w keeps dropping after I installed the new battery — what's causing it?

The E800w's Wi-Fi radio is voltage-sensitive and will throttle or drop the connection if the supply voltage sags during transmission bursts. This usually happens when the battery is below 50% charge. Charge the battery fully to 4.2V first, then test the sync — if the connection stabilises at full charge but degrades as the battery drains, the radio hardware and BMS are functioning correctly and the behaviour is expected for this platform.
