Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Toshiba Satellite Click 2 L35W-B3204 — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (PA5187U-1BRS)
This is an 11.1V, 3700mAh (41.07Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Toshiba Satellite Click 2 L35W-B3204 hybrid laptop-tablet. It fits the detachable-screen L35W line, where the battery sits in the keyboard base unit. OEM part numbers PA5187U-1BRS and P000602680 both cross-reference to this cell.
- L35W keyboard-base compatibility: The Satellite Click 2 L35W series shares a single battery format across the L35W-B3204 and L35W variants — same voltage rail, same connector pinout, and the same BMS handshake the base unit expects before it will pass charge to the tablet display panel.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the L35W platform. The BMS communicated correctly with the host, charge acceptance was normal across the full voltage range, and no fault codes appeared at the BIOS level during testing.
- Post-install calibration on the Click 2: After fitting this battery, run the device down to hibernate cutoff under normal use — detached or docked — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that typically appears after any cell swap on this platform.
BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after replacement on the L35W
The Satellite Click 2 stores charge history and health data in the old cell's EEPROM. When a new cell goes in, the BIOS compares live readings against that stale data and flags a mismatch as poor health. The battery itself is not faulty. One full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted full charge is the reset sequence the BIOS needs to re-anchor its health calculation to the new cell.
Click 2 shuts down at 20–30% battery remaining after the swap
This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity issue. Under combined CPU and display load — especially when the tablet panel is drawing power through the base — cell voltage can drop sharply before the fuel gauge reaches zero. The fuel gauge IC has not yet mapped the new cell's discharge curve, so it misjudges the remaining charge at high draw. Run two to three full discharge and recharge cycles to give the fuel gauge IC enough data to track the new cell accurately. After calibration, the cutoff point should move back below 5%.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Toshiba Click 2 shows the battery Wh as wrong in system info after I put the new cell in — is the battery a dud?
No. The Wh figure shown in system info is pulled from the old cell's EEPROM data, not measured from the new cell in real time. The BIOS hasn't yet written fresh capacity data for the replacement. Run one full discharge to hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%, and the system will recalculate and log the correct 41.07Wh figure against the new cell.
The fuel gauge jumps around wildly — shows 60%, then 85%, then 40% within minutes on the L35W. What's happening?
The fuel gauge IC on the L35W base unit calibrates itself against discharge data from the old cell. With a new cell installed, it has no reference curve yet and gives erratic readings until it builds one. This is normal for the first two to three cycles. Use the laptop normally through full discharge and recharge sequences and the gauge will stabilise — readings should track smoothly once the IC has logged two complete cycles against the new cell's chemistry.
New battery charges to 80% then stops — the L35W won't charge past that point at all.
This is a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a fault with the cell. Toshiba's firmware on some L35W units activates an 80% charge ceiling when it detects what it classifies as a degraded or unrecognised battery — triggered by stale EEPROM data from the previous cell. Go into Toshiba System Settings (or Eco Utility if installed), locate the battery charge mode setting, and switch it from Eco Charge to Full Charge. If no utility is present, update the BIOS to the latest revision from Toshiba's support page for the L35W-B3204, which resets the charge threshold logic.
