This is a 20V Li-ion replacement battery rated at 4900mAh (98Wh) for the Vax ONEPWR SpotlessGo Cordless vacuum cleaner. It matches the voltage rail and BMS handshake required by the ONEPWR platform. Compatible with part numbers BH15030 and BH25040.

• ONEPWR platform fit: The SpotlessGo Cordless shares the ONEPWR battery architecture across its range. These models use the same 20V connector housing and BMS communication protocol, so the pack slots in and the vacuum recognises the cell without calibration errors.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through the SpotlessGo Cordless motor load cycle. The BMS handled the inrush draw at startup without tripping, held steady voltage through sustained suction, and cut off cleanly at the low-cell threshold rather than dropping mid-use.
• Dock charging habit on the ONEPWR SpotlessGo: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the dock permanently between uses. The ONEPWR charger does not cut off trickle current the way a laptop charger does. Remove the battery or the machine from the dock once the charge indicator shows full.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws more current than the BMS expects under restricted airflow. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling current spikes that sag the voltage at the cell level. The vacuum interprets that as usable battery remaining because the indicator reads cell count, not load-adjusted voltage. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery is not the fault. If suction still fades with a clean filter, check cell voltage under load; a healthy pack should hold above 18V during active suction.

Motor cuts out mid-use then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a power-off fault. When sustained suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, clogged filter, or hair wrapped around the brush roll — current draw spikes past the pack's trip threshold. The BMS interrupts the circuit, the motor stops, and after a brief cooldown the BMS resets and allows restart. Clear the blockage before swapping the battery. If the cutout continues on a clear, unrestricted airflow path with a new pack, measure pack voltage immediately after trip — it should read at or above 19V if the cells are healthy.
