This is a 25.2V, 2000mAh (50.4Wh) lithium-ion battery for the Grundig High Performance Cyclone, VCP 3930, and GMS3060 cordless stick vacuums. It replaces OEM part BP25220F. When the original cell degrades, suction drops and runtime shortens — this swap restores full motor voltage.

• High Performance Cyclone, VCP 3930, GMS3060 compatibility: All three models run the same 25.2V six-cell architecture and share the BP25220F connector and BMS handshake. One battery fits all three without modification.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge cycles on the VCP 3930 dock and monitored BMS communication. The protection circuit responded correctly to overcurrent events and completed full charge termination without error flags.
• Dock charging habit for this vacuum: Do not leave the Cyclone on the charging dock permanently. Cordless vacuums on continuous dock charge develop capacity fade significantly faster than those charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The BP25220F cell voltage sags under sustained motor load before the gauge registers a low-battery state. This happens when internal resistance has risen in the original pack — the indicator reads state of charge, not voltage sag under draw. A blocked filter makes it worse by forcing the motor to pull harder, accelerating the sag. If suction drops mid-clean but the indicator still shows charge, the original cell has degraded and needs replacement.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a power-off. When suction is restricted — usually a clogged filter or blocked nozzle — the motor draws above the BMS threshold and the circuit opens. The vacuum appears dead for a few seconds, then recovers once current demand drops. Clean or replace the filter first. If the cut-outs continue on a clear filter with a fresh battery, check the nozzle pathway for a hard blockage before assuming a fault with the cell.
