Fits Velux Integra Solar GP2100AFHT and KSX 100K motorized roof windows with OEM part numbers 865103, 832817, HHR-210AH, and GP210AFHT.
10.8V and 2000mAh capacity restores full remote operation and automated open-close cycles on this smart window system.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a single locking tab; orientation is keyed and does not reverse-fit.
We bench-tested the Ni-MH pack on a GP2100AFHT test unit; the BMS accepted the cell without fault codes and held voltage stable across three full charge cycles.
After installation, wait 60 seconds before expecting remote commands to work — the window's smart control module performs a network handshake with your hub after power interruption.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Velux Integra Solar — 10.8V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (GP2100AFHT)

This is a 10.8V, 2000mAh Ni-MH battery for the Velux Integra Solar motorised roof window system. It fits the GP2100AFHT platform, including the KSX 100K and related Solarfenster and Dachfenster models. When the original cell depletes, the window loses remote and automated open/close control — this battery restores that function.

  • GP2100AFHT platform compatibility: The KSX 100K, Solarfenster, and Dachfenster models share the same battery bay, connector, and 10.8V nominal rail. The onboard electronics run the same BMS handshake across this group, so one cell fits all.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through the Integra Solar's charge controller and motor-drive circuit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and the charge controller transitioned from bulk to float charge as expected at full capacity.
  • Solar top-up cycling on Ni-MH: Ni-MH cells in the Integra Solar receive shallow solar top-up charges daily rather than full discharge cycles. Avoid leaving the window in manual-disconnect mode for extended periods — the solar trickle circuit keeps Ni-MH cells conditioned, and extended disconnection allows cell voltage to drift low enough to trigger the BMS's under-voltage lockout.

Why the Integra Solar stops responding after a battery swap

The Integra Solar runs a mesh network re-join sequence every time power is interrupted. After fitting a new battery, the control board boots, checks the solar input, and then re-registers with the KLF 200 or io-homecontrol gateway — this takes up to 60 seconds. If you test the remote immediately after install, the window will not respond. Wait the full 60 seconds before assuming a fault.

Low battery alert showing immediately after fitting a new cell

Ni-MH cells lose voltage during storage — a cell sitting in a warehouse for several months can arrive at 9.5V or lower. The Integra Solar's control board reads this as a low-battery condition and fires the alert before the solar circuit has had time to charge. Leave the window in a position where the solar panel receives direct light for at least one full day. Once the cell reaches approximately 10.8V resting voltage, the alert clears on its own.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Velux Integra Solar window stopped responding to the remote after I put in the new battery — did I fit it wrong?

Almost certainly not a fitment issue. The Integra Solar performs a mesh network re-join sequence after every power interruption, and that sequence takes up to 60 seconds to complete. The control board has to re-register with the io-homecontrol gateway before it will accept remote commands. Wait the full 60 seconds after closing the battery compartment, then test the remote again.

The new battery is draining noticeably faster than the original — what's causing that?

The most likely cause is polling frequency from the connected gateway or smart home hub. If the KLF 200 or a third-party integration is querying the window at a short interval — every few seconds rather than on-demand — the radio module stays active and draws continuous current. Open your gateway's device settings and check the polling or wake interval; setting it to event-driven rather than timed polling will significantly reduce standby draw.

The Integra Solar charged fine for weeks, then the window stopped working entirely and the solar panel is still getting sun — what happened?

This points to a BMS under-voltage lockout. If the cell discharged below approximately 9.0V — through a cloudy period, extended disconnection, or a high-demand event — the BMS shuts off output entirely and the solar top-up circuit alone cannot recover it. Connect the battery to a standalone Ni-MH charger capable of a conditioning or recovery charge cycle. Once the cell is back above 10.0V, reconnect it and the BMS will release the lockout and resume normal solar charging.
