Fits VentureCraft Valoq amplifier, replaces OEM part APP104959L directly.
Outputs 3.7V at 1400mAh capacity for consistent mid-range amplifier performance without volume sag.
Connector seats flat into the battery compartment with no locking tab — slides straight in.
Bench testing showed the BMS accepted full charge in under 90 minutes with stable voltage ramp.
Run the amplifier at 50% volume for the first full charge cycle — full-volume operation during initial use draws peak current from the uncalibrated cell and can trigger premature BMS shutdown before reaching rated capacity.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

VentureCraft Valoq — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (APP104959L)

This is a 3.7V 1400mAh Li-ion replacement cell for the VentureCraft Valoq portable amplifier. It slots in place of the original APP104959L pack when the existing cell can no longer hold a usable charge. At 56.20 × 44.00 × 7.00mm, the physical footprint matches the Valoq's internal battery bay exactly.

  • Valoq platform fit: The Valoq draws audio power directly from a single Li-ion cell operating across a narrow voltage window. That means the replacement cell must hit the same nominal voltage rail and present the same connector pinout — a mismatch at either point will prevent the amplifier from powering on at all.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a controlled load rig, confirming the BMS engages at the correct low-voltage cutoff and that the cell reaches full charge capacity without thermal event across three consecutive cycles.
  • First-cycle current draw on the Valoq: Run the Valoq at 50% volume for the first full charge cycle. Full-volume operation during the first cycle draws peak current from an uncalibrated cell and can trigger a premature BMS trip before the cell reaches its rated delivery capacity.

Amp shutting off before the battery indicator reaches empty

The Valoq's battery indicator reads cell voltage, but the amplifier's internal circuitry requires a minimum supply voltage to sustain audio output — that floor sits higher than the display's empty threshold. When the cell ages and its internal resistance rises, voltage sags under load before the indicator catches it. The amp cuts out while the display still shows charge remaining. A fresh APP104959L cell with low internal resistance restores the gap between actual cutoff and display cutoff.

Clipping and distortion at moderate volume on a new battery

Clipping on a new cell usually points to a calibration mismatch — the BMS hasn't yet established the full charge curve for the cell, so it restricts peak current delivery during audio transients. Audio amplifiers draw current in short, high-demand bursts that a freshly installed cell's BMS can misread as fault conditions. Run two full charge-discharge cycles at moderate volume before pushing the Valoq hard. After conditioning, the BMS opens up peak current delivery and the clipping resolves at a supply voltage above 3.5V.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my Valoq cut out mid-session even though the battery indicator still shows charge?

The Valoq's amplifier circuit needs a minimum voltage to sustain output — that cutoff sits higher than the voltage the battery indicator uses to show empty. As the original cell ages, internal resistance climbs and voltage sags under load, dropping below the amp's minimum before the display reflects it. A replacement APP104959L cell has lower internal resistance, which keeps the voltage above that cutoff for the full usable charge range. Check the cell voltage at shutdown — if it's reading above 3.2V, the old cell's internal resistance is the cause.

The battery drains noticeably faster when I run the Valoq at high gain — is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong — this is expected behaviour. Output power in an amplifier scales directly with gain setting, and higher output power means higher current draw from the cell. At high gain, the Valoq pulls significantly more current per unit of time than at moderate settings, which depletes the 1400mAh cell faster. If drain feels excessive even at moderate gain, check that the cell is completing a full charge cycle — a partially calibrated cell reports full capacity but delivers less usable energy.

My Valoq feels warm during extended listening sessions — is the battery causing this?

Heat during extended use comes from two sources: the amplifier's own efficiency losses converting battery power to audio output, and the cell's internal resistance generating heat as current flows through it. A degraded original cell with high internal resistance adds more heat than a fresh replacement. The APP104959L cell's internal resistance stays within spec, so residual warmth is normal amplifier operation rather than a battery fault. If the unit gets hot enough to be uncomfortable to hold, stop use and let it cool to room temperature before recharging.
