Fits Vodafone Mobiler Hotspot MiFi 2352; replaces OEM battery N/A — original pack.
3.7V lithium-ion at 1100mAh delivers 4.07Wh to power cellular radio and WiFi simultaneously without voltage sag.
Connector type proprietary to MiFi 2352 housing; slides in vertically with retention clip on underside.
Bench testing showed stable BMS voltage curve under combined modem and WiFi load across full discharge cycle.
If the hotspot fails to power on after extended storage, insert this cell and let the BMS wake for 10 seconds before pressing power — the 3.7V chemistry needs a voltage settle cycle before firmware boots.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vodafone Mobiler Hotspot MiFi 2352 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V 1100mAh Li-ion battery replaces the internal cell in the Vodafone Mobiler Hotspot MiFi 2352. The MiFi 2352 is a portable cellular hotspot that shares a mobile data connection with multiple Wi-Fi clients simultaneously. Swap this in when the original cell no longer holds a charge or fails to boot the device.

  • MiFi 2352 cell match: The MiFi 2352 runs its modem, Wi-Fi radio, and status display from a single flat Li-ion cell. The BMS on this unit monitors cell voltage directly — a cell outside the 3.0–4.2V window triggers an immediate shutdown to protect the modem chipset.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell under combined modem-plus-Wi-Fi load at four active client connections. The BMS accepted the cell without error, cycled through charge and discharge cleanly, and held stable voltage throughout.
  • Ventilation during extended sessions: Keep the MiFi 2352 on a hard, open surface during long sessions. When connected devices are far from the hotspot, the cellular radio boosts to maximum output power — that extra heat transfers directly into the cell and shortens its service life faster than normal cycling.

Why the MiFi 2352 drops all Wi-Fi clients mid-session

The MiFi 2352 runs two radios at once — a cellular modem and a Wi-Fi access point. When all client slots are active, combined current draw spikes sharply. If the cell voltage sags below the BMS trip threshold under that load, the unit cuts power instantly to protect the modem. A worn or partially discharged cell sags faster and hits that threshold earlier in a session. Replacing the cell eliminates the voltage sag that triggers the dropout.

MiFi 2352 shows charging indicator but won't boot after sitting unused

After extended storage, the cell can self-discharge below the minimum boot voltage — typically around 3.0V on this platform. The device shows a charging indicator because the charging circuit is still active, but the BMS blocks boot until the cell reaches a safe minimum, usually around 3.4–3.6V. Leave the unit on charge for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power it on. If the cell has dropped below 2.5V, the BMS may not re-engage at all and the cell will need replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions

My MiFi 2352 kicks everyone off Wi-Fi every few minutes — could the battery cause that?

Yes. When all client slots are active, the combined draw from the cellular modem and Wi-Fi radio causes voltage to sag on a weak cell. Once voltage dips below the BMS trip point, the unit shuts the radios down to protect itself. The dropout pattern gets worse as the cell ages. Fit a fresh cell and check whether the sag disappears under full load.

The MiFi 2352 battery drains noticeably faster in one location than another — what's happening?

Signal strength is the main factor. In a weak signal area, the cellular radio ramps up to maximum transmit power to hold the network connection — that draw is significantly higher than normal operation. Add multiple connected devices and the cell is under near-constant peak load. Move the hotspot closer to a window or elevated position to reduce transmit power and take the stress off the cell.

The MiFi 2352 sat in a drawer for months and now won't power on even when plugged in — is the battery recoverable?

If the cell dropped below roughly 2.5V during storage, the BMS will block both boot and charging as a safety measure. Plug the device in and leave it for at least 30 minutes without touching the power button — some BMS firmware allows a slow trickle pre-charge to bring the cell back above the re-engagement threshold of around 3.0V. If the charge LED never appears and the device stays cold after 30 minutes, the cell is below recovery range and needs to be replaced.
