Fits Wiko Minimi smartphone; replaces OEM part minini.
3.7V 750mAh lithium-ion cell restores full charge capacity to a degraded original battery.
Connector matches original slot orientation; no adapter or modification needed for installation.
Bench testing showed clean voltage ramp on insertion; BMS accepted charge at 500mA without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Wiko Minimi — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (minini)

This is a 3.7V 750mAh (2.78Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Wiko Minimi smartphone. It fits directly into the Minimi's battery bay and restores power to the display, processor, and wireless radios. Use it when the original cell can no longer hold a charge or shuts the phone down unexpectedly.

  • Wiko Minimi fit: The Minimi runs a single-cell 3.7V Li-ion pack at a fixed form factor — 50.00 x 40.00 x 4.80mm. This cell matches that footprint and voltage rail, so the BMS handshake between battery and charge IC completes without a connector or voltage mismatch.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench. The BMS held cutoff voltage correctly at both ends of the curve, and charge IC communication completed without error flags on our test unit.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On the first use after installation, run the battery down to automatic shutdown, then charge it in one uninterrupted session to 100%. This gives the Minimi's fuel gauge IC a full reference curve against the new cell — skipping this step is the main cause of erratic percentage readings in the first week.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Wiko Minimi after a cell swap

The Minimi's processor and modem pull current spikes that a degraded or uncalibrated cell cannot sustain. When cell voltage drops below roughly 3.5V under that load, the BMS trips a protective cutoff before the OS reports zero percent. The phone reads 20–30% remaining because the fuel gauge IC is still tracking an old discharge curve. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a complete uninterrupted charge resets that reference — after one cycle, the shutdowns typically stop.

Phone feels warm near the battery during the first few charges

A new cell arrives with slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell. The charge IC pushes current into that higher-resistance cell, and the extra energy dissipates as heat. This is normal during the first two or three charge cycles and drops off as the cell beds in. If the phone stays warm beyond the third charge cycle, check that no background apps are running during charging and that ambient temperature is below 35°C.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Wiko Minimi shows 25% battery and then just turns off — is the new battery faulty?

This is almost always a fuel gauge IC mismatch, not a bad cell. The Minimi's coulomb counter is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so it reports voltage-based percentage incorrectly. Run the phone until it shuts itself off, then charge it in one uninterrupted session to 100% without using the phone. After that single full cycle, the fuel gauge recalibrates and the premature shutdowns stop.

After fitting the replacement battery, my Wiko Minimi won't power on at all — the screen stays black.

If the cell sat in storage for a while, its voltage may have dropped below 2.5V, which is the BMS lockout threshold. The BMS locks the cell out to prevent damage from deep discharge, and the phone cannot boot. Plug the Minimi into a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it clears the BMS lockout threshold, after which the phone will boot normally.

The battery percentage on my Wiko Minimi keeps jumping around — it goes from 60% to 45% and back up without charging.

Erratic percentage jumps mean the fuel gauge IC is actively recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve. This happens because the coulomb counter lost its reference points when the old cell was removed. The jumps settle after one or two complete discharge-and-charge cycles. Let the phone run down fully to auto-shutdown once, then charge uninterrupted to 100%, and the percentage display will stabilise.
