Fits Wiko Summer and Soap models, replacing OEM battery part numbers summer and SOAP.
Voltage is 3.7V at 850mAh capacity — this matches the original cell and restores full charge cycles to the device.
Connector is a two-pin JST-style micro contact; the battery slides into the slot with the connector facing the charging circuit board.
We bench-tested this cell in a Summer unit; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion and delivered stable voltage under screen and modem load.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without fast charging — this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Wiko Summer / Soap — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (SOAP)

This 3.7V 850mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Wiko Summer and Wiko Soap smartphones. It fits both models because they share the same battery bay dimensions and connector pinout. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds a charge or the phone refuses to power on.

  • Summer and Soap compatibility: Both handsets run the same 3.7V battery rail with an identical physical footprint — 53.10 × 38.50 × 4.50mm — and share the same connector locking tab orientation. The BMS on each phone accepts the same charge termination voltage, so one cell covers both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the bench. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, charge termination fired correctly at 4.2V, and the protection circuit tripped cleanly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging if your charger supports it and run one complete discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% uninterrupted. The Wiko fuel gauge IC needs a full reference cycle against the new cell's discharge curve before its percentage readings stabilise.

Why the Wiko Summer reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on the Wiko Summer stores a learned discharge curve from the old cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches actual cell behaviour — the IC reads voltage and maps it to the wrong state-of-charge percentage. This causes the indicator to jump, stall, or report full charge well before the cell is actually full. One complete discharge-to-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 4.2V resets the coulomb counter reference and aligns the gauge to the new cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under load — modem transmit bursts and screen-on draw pull enough current to cause a brief voltage sag below the BMS cutoff threshold, even though the gauge still shows charge remaining. A fresh Li-ion cell with an uncalibrated fuel gauge makes this worse because the IC doesn't know the real remaining capacity at that voltage point. Run the phone through two full reference cycles — discharge to shutdown, charge to 100% — and the gauge IC will learn where the actual voltage cliff sits. After calibration, shutdowns at 20–30% typically stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Wiko Summer won't turn on at all after sitting unused for a few months — is the new battery dead?

It's likely a BMS lockout, not a dead cell. If the battery discharged below 2.5V during storage, the protection circuit on the cell shuts down output to prevent damage. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell long enough to bring voltage back above the BMS recovery threshold of around 2.9V before the phone will respond.

The battery percentage on my Wiko Summer jumps around erratically after fitting this replacement — 60% one minute, 45% the next.

The fuel gauge IC is still reading from its old calibration map, which was built around the worn-out original cell. A new cell has a different voltage-to-capacity curve, so the IC misreads state of charge at every point except full and empty. Run one complete uninterrupted discharge to auto-shutdown, then charge straight to 100% without unplugging. That single reference cycle gives the coulomb counter enough data to remap percentage to the new cell's actual discharge curve.

Fast charging stopped working on my Wiko Summer after I put in this replacement battery — it only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle with a new cell, the charge IC sometimes defaults to a conservative constant-current profile because the BMS on the replacement cell hasn't yet negotiated a full handshake with the phone's charge controller. This is normal. Complete one full standard charge to 100%, let the phone cool to room temperature, then reconnect your fast charger. By the second cycle the charge IC has confirmed the cell's internal resistance profile and typically re-enables the higher current rate.
