This is a 3.85V 4650mAh (17.9Wh) lithium-polymer cell for the Wiko View 4 and Power U10 smartphones. It replaces part number FHPV476791P and fits the original battery compartment at 87.90 × 66.85 × 4.70mm. Swap it in when your original cell can no longer hold a charge through a normal day.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Wiko View 4

This is a voltage cliff, not a capacity problem. When the modem transmits or the screen brightness spikes, current draw pulls the cell voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold faster than the fuel gauge can track it. An aged original cell cannot sustain voltage under that load, and the phone shuts off even though the reported percentage looks safe. A fresh cell at full capacity holds voltage above the 3.4V cutoff during those peaks and eliminates the sudden drop.

Phone won't power on after sitting in storage with a flat battery

If a lithium-polymer cell discharges below approximately 2.5V per cell during extended storage, the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent further damage. In this state the phone will not respond to a charger or the power button. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. If the BMS recovers, the charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it reaches the 3.0V threshold needed to boot.

Why does my Wiko View 4 show the wrong battery percentage after fitting a new cell?

The fuel gauge IC on the Wiko View 4 uses a coulomb counter calibrated to the discharge curve of the original cell. A new cell has a different impedance profile, so the IC misreads state of charge until it maps the new curve. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without fast charging enabled. After that single cycle, percentage readings stabilise.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in after replacing the battery — is the charger the problem?

The charger is not the problem. On the first cycle after a cell swap, the Wiko charge IC runs a fresh negotiation with the new BMS. Until that handshake completes successfully, the phone falls back to standard 5V charging as a safety measure. Use the original wall adapter, let the first charge complete fully without unplugging, and fast charging will resume on subsequent cycles once the IC accepts the new cell's parameters.

The phone gets noticeably warm near the battery compartment while charging — is that normal on a new cell?

A new lithium-polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC drives more voltage across the cell to push current through it during the first few cycles. That resistance converts some energy to heat, which is why the back of the phone runs warmer than you were used to. The effect reduces after three to five full charge cycles as impedance drops. If the phone feels hot to the touch — not just warm — check that the charge termination voltage is not exceeding 4.35V using a battery diagnostics app.
