Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Wiko View / Harry 2 / Tommy 3 Plus — 3.85V Li-ion Replacement Battery (V12BNL)
This 3.85V, 2400mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Wiko View, Harry 2, Tommy 3 Plus, and W-V600 smartphones. It matches the OEM voltage rail and physical footprint (77.10 × 59.90 × 4.10 mm), so it seats correctly in the battery bay without modification. Capacity is 9.24Wh — identical to the factory spec.
- View, Harry 2, Tommy 3 Plus platform fit: These models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. One cell covers the full platform — no adapter or wiring change needed.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a View unit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, charge current ramped normally to CV phase, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before it accepts high charge current — skipping this step causes the percentage counter to drift or jump in the first few days.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Wiko View after a cell swap
A fresh cell has a steeper voltage-vs-capacity curve than a worn one. When the modem transmits or the screen hits full brightness, current draw spikes and cell voltage dips sharply — the BMS reads this as a low-voltage fault and shuts down. This is not a defective cell; it is the fuel gauge IC working from stale calibration data. Run one complete discharge cycle from 100% down to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that full cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates and the shutdowns stop.
Phone won't power on after the replacement battery sat in storage
Li-ion cells shipped or stored at low charge can drop below 2.5V per cell during transit. Below that threshold, the BMS enters lockout mode and blocks charge current to prevent plating damage. The phone will show nothing on screen — no charging icon, no vibration. Connect it to a wall adapter (not a PC port) and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. Most BMS circuits on this platform use a trickle pre-charge recovery routine that runs silently; once voltage climbs above 3.0V, normal charging resumes and the screen will respond.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Wiko View battery percentage jumps around erratically after I fitted the new cell — is something wrong with it?
Nothing is wrong with the cell itself. The fuel gauge IC on the View's charge controller was calibrated to the discharge curve of the old, degraded battery. When a new cell goes in, the coulomb counter loses its reference and percentage readings drift until it relearns the curve. Run one uninterrupted discharge from 100% down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% in one session. After that single cycle the fuel gauge stabilises and percentage reporting becomes accurate.
Fast charging stopped working on the Wiko View the moment I swapped the battery — it only slow-charges now.
The View's charge IC negotiates fast-charge current with the battery BMS on each power-on. A new cell's BMS sometimes rejects the elevated current on the first handshake cycle because it has no charge history to validate against. Connect the phone to its original fast charger and let it complete one full charge at whatever rate it accepts — slow is fine for this cycle. On the next charge session the BMS handshake completes normally and fast charging resumes; do not swap cables or adapters mid-cycle during this first charge.
The back of my Wiko View gets noticeably warm near the battery while charging with the new cell — is that normal?
Mild warmth on the first few charge cycles is expected. A new cell at higher impedance than the worn original draws charge current less efficiently in the early CC phase, and the charge IC dissipates the difference as heat. If the phone is warm to the touch but not hot, this settles after two or three full cycles as the cell's internal impedance drops. If it becomes too hot to hold comfortably, stop charging, let it cool to room temperature, and charge again at a lower-current source such as a standard 5W adapter to rule out a charge IC fault.
