Fits ZTE Blade Vantage 2 and replaces OEM part Li3820T43P4h695945.
3.8V at 1900mAh supplies the smartphone's modem, display, and radio during calls and standby.
Connector slides into the original battery slot with standard ZTE flat contact alignment and retention clip.
We ran a full charge-discharge cycle on a Blade Vantage 2 test unit; the BMS accepted the cell without fault codes on first insertion.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ZTE Blade Vantage 2 / Blade A3 2019 — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (Li3820T43P4h695945)

This is a 3.8V, 1900mAh Li-ion cell that replaces the original battery in the ZTE Blade Vantage 2 (Z3153, Z3153VPP) and Blade A3 2019. It matches the OEM part number Li3820T43P4h695945 and fits the original battery bay without modification. Capacity is 1900mAh — identical to the factory cell.

  • Blade Vantage 2 and Blade A3 2019 fit: Both devices share the same battery bay dimensions and connector pinout. The Z3153 and Z3153VPP variants use the same voltage rail and BMS handshake, so one cell covers all four model numbers listed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the Z3153 platform. The BMS accepted charge from both wall adapters and USB ports without triggering a cutoff or rejection flag.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This allows the fuel gauge IC to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Why the Blade Vantage 2 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The Z3153 uses a fuel gauge IC that stores a discharge curve calibrated to the original cell. When you install a new cell, the IC still references that old curve. The percentage reading drifts — often showing full when the cell is not, or dropping fast near the bottom. One complete discharge cycle, down to automatic shutdown and then a full uninterrupted charge, resets the coulomb counter against the new cell's actual behaviour. After that single cycle, percentage readings stabilise.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% remaining on the replacement cell

This happens when the modem or display draws peak current and the cell voltage collapses below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. The fuel gauge IC has not yet mapped where the new cell's voltage cliff sits under load. A full discharge-charge calibration cycle corrects the mismatch. If shutdowns continue after two full cycles, check that the battery connector is fully seated — a partially connected cell adds resistance and accelerates voltage sag to the 2.5V cutoff.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Blade Vantage 2 powers off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is something wrong with the cell?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve from the old, degraded battery. Under modem or screen load, the new cell's voltage drops faster than the IC expects at that percentage, and the BMS cuts power at its 2.5V floor. Run one full discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. That recalibrates the coulomb counter against the new cell and moves the shutdown point to the correct voltage.

The phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat unused for several months before I installed it — how do I recover it?

A cell stored for months can drop below 2.5V per cell, which triggers BMS lockout — the protection circuit opens and blocks current flow entirely. Connect the phone to a wall charger, not a PC port, and leave it for at least 30 minutes without attempting to power it on. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage recovers above the BMS re-enable threshold, typically around 2.9V. Once the charging indicator appears on screen, the BMS has re-initialised and normal charging will resume.

Fast charging stopped working on my Blade Vantage 2 after I put in the new battery — it only charges slowly now.

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the phone's charge controller sometimes falls back to standard 5V charging until it completes one full cycle with the new BMS. This is a handshake behaviour, not a fault. Charge the phone fully once on a standard cable, then discharge and recharge — fast charge protocol should negotiate correctly on the second cycle. If it still defaults to slow charging after two cycles, try the original ZTE wall adapter, as third-party chargers occasionally fail the USB-PD negotiation with the Z3153's charge IC.
